Honestly the two of them are genuinely adorable. Romantic or Platonic. There arc’s(heh) so good and work together so well.

If you'd told me back in v2 that I'd actually like Weiss and Jaune interactions, you'd likely have gotten a very doubtful "no way" look. But regardless of platonic or romantic future, I actually like the place they've reached as of v9. Jaune no longer pursuing Weiss, Weiss giving him acknowledgement of how far he's come, and just the two of them having now known each & gone through a lot of shit together.

Oh there’s a small volume 8 scene missing. After Jaune boosted Penny’s aura, Weiss touched his shoulder with a proud and happy look on her face. In that same scene, Jaune noticed Weiss wiping a tear from her eye; both responses were from temporarily saving Penny from the virus.

Their friendship is so underrated, I really like how it developed from Jaune having a crush on her and Weiss hating him to Jaune no longer having the crush nor being insistant, and Weiss actually recognizing his growth and strength Now there's respect and true friendship after everyone team RWBY and team JNPR has been through together

58:14 is my favorite frame of the entire season. That is quite possibly the warmest and most tender hug between friends I have ever seen considering what she said right before it. The development of the bond between these two is my favorite relationship progress in the entire series

Love Jaune and Weiss. They are two of my fav characters in the series. They've really done my boy Jaune dirty so I hope we can see him and Ruby kick finally cinders ass.

Their meeting wasn't the best, but the road to where they are now has been organic and believable, even if part of it was in the background and you could miss it if you don't pay attention. They grew to admire each other and see the best in each other, plus you can see how over time they grew to care for each other's well being. Yeah, I believe they are great together and they are in a place where it would be believable for them to take the next step.

Another wonderful look back at aspects of this series that we can easily overlook at first glance, Dakota. The layers of storytelling in RWBY gives us so much to enjoy, understand, and to look forward to. The best stories and characters always do, right??? From the beginning jaune was just a simple huntsman boy student and he liked Weiss, as Weiss rejected him and only see him as a nuisance. And after losing pyrrha, jaune was broken, 🙁 ( and he's not the only one..😭) then all the gang went their separated ways , time went on , they all got back together at haven academy, next , Weiss got death flagged but jaune saved her. Later jaune been maturing himself, at atlas , and after sacrificeing penny , jaune was so destroyed.. so since then, all those years he spent , he wanted to be the hero to make up for it.. but Weiss cheered him up, that even thou the best OF the best failed , they was still courageous and good. 57:49 - 58:14 that part I love it the most..😭 and please dont hate me but from the beginning I've been getting the feeling that jaune and Weiss should end up together.and i ship them, They went through so much and they been good friends now , and Weiss now treats jaune as a good friend and jaune does the same to Weiss . they both respected each other and I hope one day they'll see that they'll like each other..😊 I'm all for White knight ship ! ❄🛡 (and yea i know, i talk too much and im sorry..😔🙏)and to the person who uploading this ; thank you so much.😊 you are the greatest!😁👍

These two definitely are good friends. Through it didn’t start that great at first but over time they do become good friends. In my opinion, I don’t see them as a couple but I love the part when Weiss see jaune older and she loves jaune more ‘mature’. But for the most part I mostly see them as good friends. #greenlitvolume10

I sometimes never understood the jaune hate. I mean I get it, EVERYONE (inside and out the ruby fandom) is kind of getting tired of the “nice guys finish last” and/or “unpopular goof gets the popular pretty girl” tropes. But when Weiss explained she’s always been hit on only because of her last name, jaune proved (to the audience) twice that he liked Weiss and Pyrrha for who they were, not their names. (It’s also mostly coming from hardcore ‘Weiss x literally anyone else’ shippers but. Eh)

I hope they will be a great couple.

Glad to see that the two of them now have a good friendship unlike how it was volumes ago. I'm not a diehard WK fan, but it's a good ship and it's one of the ships I like the most. I wouldn't mind at all if it becomes a thing in the future (that or LC, either are the most likely options I see). Honestly yeah I want Pyrrha to come back but if that doesn't happen then this is still heartwarming. Regardless, these two are adorable, platonic or otherwise, and feel really well-built together. More than anything, I just want something good to happen to Jaune for once; my boy has just had a string of Ls without a single W since volume 3.

As a general rule, I try not to get involved in shipping because it tends to get way too toxic way too quickly. That said if White Knight ends up becoming cannon, one thing I think I will find admirable as long as they do not completely botch the execution, is that both Weiss and Jaune have identities and have had character growth independent of each other and how they relate to one another. Even if the relationship remains platonic, it is still beautiful. Particularly starting at 57:48, I do not think anybody has been able to reach Jaune on an emotional level like that since Pyrrha died. Whatever happens I hope Weiss will quickly talk to Jaune and convince him that they should tell the others about what happened to Penny, keeping that secret is not going to do his mental health any favors and it is better they hear it from him and Weiss than have Cinder reveal it in the middle of a fight.

I feel like the show is going to build their relationship whether it’s romantic or platonic, though in Volume 9 it’s seems to be leaning towards Romantic, which is fine I like it but I do kinda hope that we see a bit of hesitation from Jaune because of what happened between him and Pyrrha. It would add drama
