In my head, I felt like he was always in the videos and I never realized that he wasn’t always a part of Jimmy’s crew. I’m actually so happy for him, and more recently Nolan, who got the opportunity to be a part of something they probably never thought possible before it actually happened.

Wow just a few minutes into this and I see now how much Karl was prepped for where he is now. Two years of streaming to no one sounds unimpressive but he probably grew so much and learned how to be on camera because of that! He looks like an overnight success on Twitch because of Mr Beast, but this video shows that’s not the case. Also, an unspoken aspect of what contributed to his popularity…he’s likable. In just the few first minutes of this video, you can see the only reason opportunities went well for him is not just Bc he was prepared, but he also is very likable . His FRIEND recommended him the editor job. CHRIS liked him. DREAM liked him. Karl is friendly and likable which is important to take note of too.

I think what makes Karl stand out is his personality -- he's soft and very giggly all the time. I think most people who make it big on twitch do so because of their personalities, and because of the community they cultivate. Whereas youtube is partially personality-driven content (+editing and production etc), twitch is almost entirely personality-driven content, if that makes sense. And the people who enjoy watching streamers are primarily looking for that sort of thing and a community they can feel a part of.

Yea. I think twitch is more personality based than KZfaq because it can't really be edited or cut, so u have to stay consistent and interactive

Karl is the kind of guy that makes you feel as though you've known him since kindergarten even though u just met him on KZfaq, he's so genuine and wholesome and I'm proud to be a fan.:)

I only started watching Karl's streams a few months ago, but something that sticks out a lot to me is his generosity towards his friends; I always see him gifting so many subs and being super supportive. Honestly, it's insane to see his grind on twitch when you know he also has a full time job. Sometimes he looks so tired and worn out during all those late night streams due to the lack of sleep, but this is why everyone often says he's one of the most hardworking people they know. I have so much respect for Karl.

I like Karl, I also like the fact that he admitted to him being lucky, but he got really, I mean really lucky. Thankfully he had a friend that knew Mr. Beast, if that wasn't the case, he maybe would have went through college until the end, then had a hard time finding a cushy editing job for years, if at all.

2:35 I can completely relate. I remember getting a call from a friend back in the fall of 2017 who got a job out in Los Angeles and asking me if I wanted to move out there to be roommates. I had a solid job at a company I was moving up in, but I just reflexively told him right then, "Yeah lets do it", told my boss that day and moved out-of-state two months later. Zero regrets. Sometimes the best decisions you make, even if big ones, are made quickly. If you have to waffle a lot on things, there are possibly too many downsides to the change.

This is exactly what a person needs for success. A likable and charismatic personality, passion for their respective goal but at the same time they also need to take opportunities that come their way, (like karl did by signing up as an editor for Jimmy's brother and then slowly solidifiing his place in mr best crew), because you never know maybe one of them decisions might change your life forever.

this is cool. i’ve always loved karl, his work has always amazed me. i have wondered how he got to where he is, even though i’ve learned a lot. he’s such a good person, too. i met him one time, i was out getting food, and i kept looking at him and smiling. he eventually noticed, and came over to talk to me and i got a picture with him. he just makes me so happy :) this is random but yeah :D

I started watching Karl last year when he kinda peaked for the first time on Mr beast and I loved his humor and just everything about him and this year i just really got into Karls content and whenever I see him stream or upload I want to watch it as fast as I can he impacted my life so significantly and I just dont want anything bad for him because he gets so much unnecessary hate because people have nothing better to do Karl's community is really great and amazingly strong IM so so glad he has people on his side including me

I don’t think (some) people realize that being a KZfaqr is hard work, I just started and it took me 5 hours to edit and upload my very first video. An hour to upload because I wanted it to be perfect. They are insane and very talented

This legit made me emotional. I’ve been watching Mr Beast for years and I’ve followed every single one of his friends stories. I remember Karl’s first video and how his bromance with Chris was very wholesome. I loved their dynamic and that’s how Karl stuck with me. He’s a super cool kid and I’m happy all these good things are coming to him. He’s worked hard for it.

I was introduced to Karl by watching mrbeast, I actually had just been introduced to mrbeast at the end of 2021, love that whole group and definitely are inspiring.

The most important aspect you guys missed, is that he always has this never ending fresh humour. There are some jokes that stay in your head for a day or two, and he is also a literal mood changer

i think a lot of us have a part of us that relates to Karl heavy and are rooting for him or they know/care for someone similar in some kind of way. He's a real person and it's a breath of fresh air. Plus i mean he's adorable and loves memes

I fucking love Karl so much! He truly is such a down to earth, humble, honest and wholesome guy. I've been keeping eye on him for around 2 years now and I've always been really rooting for him and I am so proud of him for his dedication to his work/craft. I really hope he goes as far as possible and straight to the top in the future. He deserves it, honestly.

Karl to me isn't just a streamer or apart of Mr. Beast he is the reason I'm alive today. Like actually I had tried then I got s notification that Karl went live and the I watched his stream and something just hit me that being alive isn't that bad then I did everything I could get the pills out of my system and it worked. But Karl Is an amazing person and he deserves the world
