Last time I watched this OVA I was in the 6th grade. I'm a high school graduate now. It's been so long, I finally found this video.

Real ones remember this ova and come back to watch it. Back in my middle school days of imagining how hype Naruto and Sasuke’s final confrontation will be. The nostalgia really makes me happy to have grown up with the Big 3 back in the day.

I just realized... Naruto and sasuke both fought the akatsuki members who were a part of their clan.. Sasuke fought uchiha itachi and naruto fought uzumaki nagato.

These two kids have been through so much together. They raised each-other and shaped each-other into the people they are today. It’s incredible how an anime can depict this with such an intricate and detailed story, while maintaining badass fight scenes. Outstanding.

I always liked that the fight at 2:52 is one of the rare times where it doesn't just feel like a choreo, but actually like the characters are going for the kill with each hit.

I still come to this video every so often just to reminisce on how I felt when I watched it for the first time as a kid. My dream is to create a story like this so that it can touch other kids around the world just like Naruto did for me.

I still love this "version of the story" for them over the anime one... This is so much better than the fight after the kage summit, so more simple, strong and nostalgic!! And the expression on Sakura and Kakashi faces with Naruto supposedly dead are perfect!

I think this OVA was released in 2011. I remember I was still in high school. Now I'm at the 4th year of Med School. Time sure flies... BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THESE FEELS? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THEM??? Edit 2023: I graduated from med school and I started working while waiting for the residency exam 😤

This OVA right here was a taste of Naruto and Sasuke's final battle back when the manga was still in the Five Kage Summit Arc and is why the manga battle was so disappointing to me. The anime final battle more than made up for it, though.

I remember I was Soo overwhelmed with emotion watching this OVA and when Mayonaka no Orchestra kicked in I could barely contain my emotions for this show, and for Naruto and Sasuke..... I was in absolute love with this. And then Sasuke at the end, blood dripping down his face! with Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan looked sooo cool and sinister!!! I loved this Sasuke the most!!!!

Gotta come back and rewatch this every once and a while. Gosh they should just reanimate the Naruto series. We NEED that Naruto remake.

oh no...the nostalgia omg. It's almost like a routine by now to watch this after a long while just to get that nostalgic heart-clenching, heart-wrenching feeling. I've grown up with Naruto and I was there each time a new episode came out...that feeling of coming back after school just to catch a new episode... How times have changed and how I've grown up since I've first watched this video. I still have the original from so many years ago somewhere. It's like a national treasure that I'll always hold precious, with the way it shaped and defined my childhood. Each time I watch this, I'm reminded of how time flies and I should enjoy what I have while I have them... It's sad that I will never have the same level of attachment to Boruto and I honestly wished it never even existed lol. Good for people who can enjoy it...but it feels like an insult to the OG characters to me, so I just can't watch it. I honestly feel the Naruto franchise should have ended with Naruto and Sasuke fighting each other but with a really heart-wrenching, sad ending (or the same ending but without the forced romance) INSTEAD of the bullshit fanservice (aka Burrito)...Burrito feels like a cashgrab instead of a successor to a series which many adore. Anyway, enough ranting, I really wish yt doesn't take this one down and we have it for even many more years to come back to :D

I come back and watch this every so often and it still holds up as a masterpiece of an OVA. So much incredible emotion and storytelling packed into 5 minutes with one of the best Aqua Timez songs, which is really saying something. Freaking fantastic.

This is one of the best OVA AMV’s of all time. So memorable, and being able to compare it to the actual final battle between sasuke and naruto is pretty crazy

Seeing Sasuke at the end is so sad, it’s like there is no more a human side to him and I’m so happy it didn’t end like that.

This is what irritates me about Boruto so much. We watched these two grow throughout the years and conquered every struggle and hardship. They're not just some stepping stone for a shitty main character or punching bags for these set of new villains. They deserved better than that. We fans deserved better than that.

i would like to live in an alternate timeline where sage mode and mangekyou are the last power ups for naruto and sasuke. the final battle would have been so much better without those megazords and cheap six paths powers. no ninja war garbage either.

Lest we forget that it's moments like this that led up to the fourth great ninja war, at the very end of which Naruto and Sasuke finally picked up the pieces, and put the past behind them once and for all.

I remember when this first came out, I wasn't caught up on Naruto because of the constant fillers and thought Naruto and Sasuke were officially having their rematch. There were so many animations of them fighting back then that it drove me nuts when trying to find out if it was legit. Good times

The last time I watched this was in 6th grade, on my PSP, not understanding a single word in the damn song but crying to it anyway. Now I'm entering college, fully understanding the song and, you guessed it, still crying to it years later. To think that I could never watch this fight which I had expected a lot since I was a kid: Sage Mode Naruto vs. Mangekyou Sharingan Sasuke. Instead, I had to wait more than five years to watch OP characters transformed in Megazords fight in the anime. I would have loved to see this fight instead of the real final one. Maybe in an alternative universe, it exists.

I remember watching this a million times, my favorite OVA ever, Naruto has a special place in my heart

Its been 4 years since last time i heard this i remember being suicidal and this helping me when i would go on walks. Now i graduated highscool going to university and this reminds me of how far ive come. I love naruto and sasuke. Best anime to me even though the plot couldve been better written sometimes. Animes like hunter and fmab and ippo are so much better written but still arent my favorite animes. Naruto is my fav because of how much it helped me in my life

they should have had a fight like this when they met after danzo killed danzo. It would have fit perfectly in the story and we would have felt it
