Also, "The Show Must Go On" is a song Brian wrote for Freddie that was never performed in concert... but the VINZA Channel has a phenomenal video of concert clips remixed, so expertly compiled you would swear it is an actual live performance... truly amazing... They just took everybody. They walked away being the greatest band you’d ever seen in your life, and it was unbelievable,” said Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters. “And that’s what made the band so great; that’s why they should be recognized as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, because they could connect with an audience.”

Decades later the world is still remembering and celebrating this Queen performance! Most people never saw other artists performances from this event or beware that anyone else performed there and are surprised like "What? Madonna was there, too?" ... You just hear "Live Aid" and first thing that comes to mind is: Queen! ♥

The song “Flash” is from the 1980 movie “Flash Gordon”. Queen wrote and performed the soundtrack. Freddie had been having throat problems and was advised to rest his voice to avoid potential damage to his vocal cords. There is a very good in depth technical analysis of this performance from the “Wings of Pegasus” youtube channel. It’s 50 minutes and is worth a watch. Yes. There were dozens and dozens of bands, at both locations. Btw, veterans stadium, in Philadelphia was the venue in the united states. Phil Collins played at both locations that day. Early at Wembley,. He took the concorde to Philadelphia to perform there that evening. Unfortunately, Zeppelin nowhere near their standard. It wasnt a comback for queen. They didnt really 5ake time off. That claim is exaggerated. Btw, have you reacted to We Are the World.? Also, a fund raising song.

Queen and Led Zeppelin are my 2 favorite bands but Zeppelin did not put on a good performance. Many of these bands did not rehearse but Queen prepared and it showed.

Wow. That was a misleading connection. Freddie not feeling well had absolutely nothing to do with HIV. He had a throat infection. A simple throat infection. Nothing more dramatic than that. Devastating for someone whose job is to sing that night, but there was no reason for Freddie’s HIV diagnosis to be brought up here. They’re unrelated.
