Wow first time i hear this name shamgar, i thought it was Samson who killed 600 with the jawbone or that's a different story ...i should check my Bible knowledge again and i thought i know much! Thanks a lot for informing us. And what an amazing message in the end.. very well said. God is still working to give us chance after chance to get refined and be more like Christ and more souls be saved .. evil will be judged indeed.. we just need to do our part in fighting it and shining the light of the Lord in the darkness till He returns. God bless everyone 🙏💕

@@nope4001 You are right, i just checked it now. Fascinating. Only 1 verse about Shamgar! which makes this video the more appreciated for all the info and light it shed on it. And thank you for mentioning the verse! I read the whole chapter 3 and i must confess it's the first time i read it. i know a lot of Bible but i never read it entirely, i have started doing so thought couple of years ago starting from Genesis, but i'm doing it thoroughly as in Hebrew words and writing my own thoughts and commentaries, and drawing where it needs to for explanation, AND, i wanted to write what God Himself says.. i'm writing all the sentences that God spoke, as they did in NT writing in red what Jesus said! it's a slow process and me falling behind continuously.. i'm still in Deuteronomy the 5th book! I also went to Samson's story in Judges 15, now i know the difference between them! Yes Shamgar killed 600 with the oxgoad and Samson killed thousand with the donkey jawbone! Was reading Judges 3 on the Berean bible version on Bible hub just learned something new .. the city of palms .. used to call Jericho! It's so exciting we have TONS of things to learn from the Bible! The Lord help us with time and dedication and one day we will learn it all from Him! So grateful for what we have, the word of God, and all God's people who share the knowledge, His knowledge! Thank you for your reply and for sharing! The Lord bless you and keep, have a wonderful day!

@residue junkie Thanks for sharing dear. I've heard about the different translations and versions before but honestly i didn't pay attention because for me, nothing changing the core message or any fundamentals. interestingly enough just yesterday i was watching a video and the pastor said if anyone wants to know the mistranslations in KJV please e-mail and he'll send it out! And Just the video i was watching before your comment said KJV changed all the congregation or assembly words to church! because England king was being the head of church so it was like for power issues. Things like that are interesting but doesn't really effect the message of the Bible that causes me to concern, you know. Now i read on the blueletterbible site, which you can choose the original language and check for yourself exactly what was written, with the strong# definitions and everything, which i really enjoy and appreciate a lot. I will check your video as well! Thank you for your care and time and dedication! The Lord bless you and keep you. Maranatha!

I would like to contribute some constructive criticism, or maybe it's just personal displeasure. Nonetheless, the narration just isn't doing it for me. Respectfully. The theatrics feel excessive. It very well may just be an audio issue. There seems to be an echo of sorts. Whatever it is, it completely divides my attention. I will rewatch the video, as my intentions are to learn. I was just compelled to share apparently. EDIT: After listening to this in its entirety I would like to say that God allows injustices in order to allow justice. For what is anything without its counterpart? I'm always surprised how often people fail to acknowledge He is a perfect God. What you may perceive as a defect is in fact perfection. Just look around. His crafting table simultaneously made the game and broke it.

If the Bible just mentioned Shamgar in just one verse, may I know where your source of information to come up with this narration? I am just curious cause this is my first time to hear about Shamgar. I saw the verse to confirm (Jusges 3:31). Thanks for your response.

Was he a Hittite ? I think in the BDB shows it . I started to read the Book of Judges . I haven’t got far . The Lord keeps pushing me back . I am trying to gain as much insight as possible . Interesting that his name is in a Hebrew study comes up as cup bearer as well as Sword . And being the son of Anath, the Goddess of War . But he was just named that only from the deity right? He Wasn’t born from a pagan God ? Maybe I am a bit confused on this

Shamgar was not an ite. He was not a Horite. He may have been an apostate Jew who followed the false god Anath. As most of Israel followed false gods most of their existence. God would not have made a Horite a Prophet. All the judges were Prophets. Sorry. Truth is hard to take. Correct your doctrine.
