When Suzanne Somers left the show I didn't watch 3 company anymore I couldn't watch it no more she was real funny and the show wasn't the same I really miss her she made me very joyful😍

They didn't fire her to make an example, they fired her because she did absolutely everything wrong in negotiating a contract. She chose to no-show tapings, which pissed off the producers and cast, that's really what hastened her demise on that show. Plus she did a show called "She's the Sheriff" in '87 which was really bad and probably wants people to forget it.

She and John Ritter made that show majic? She was the sexiest thing on t.v when I was a kid . Like pre 1987

UH she did star in the sitcom Shes the Sheriff before Step by step - actually shes the sheriff ended in like 1989

If I had to pick one show it would be Three’s Company in the first 4 seasons. She was great.

She was selfish and wanted more money because she thought she was the show. Boy was she wrong. John was the show!! She was selfish and lost.

@@novadhd -- yes, due to her dinginess she created that crazy sex-sells aura about herself and had great chemistry with Joyce and John. She ruined the show when leaving, so yea, the party was over, chemistry is everything on a show like that. You can only do so many shows about the same general shtick, but with Chrissy....there was magic. That magic ended when greed ruled the day. Her partner was her poison.

Priscilla Barnes was better!!! Don Knotts and Richard Kline were much better than the Ropers!!!! The series got better and better as it went along!!!

She wanted to be paid commensurate with what men in general on TV were making then - she wanted a higher salary not just on the basis of what John Ritter was making.
