Akolibed just set the world's first 1700 pp play which was absolutely game-defining fc on sidetracked day, what does this mean for mrekk and his number 1 position? On October 13th 2023 Akolibed set the new pp record for the staggering amount of 1711PP On sidetracked day Hddt.
This is Such an impressive and remarkable score not only for Akolibed but also for the osu! Community.
I believe this score will expand the osu skill ceiling even further beyond what we thought. The finger control, speed, consistency and flow aim this play needed to be done is insane. This score beats all the previous 1,500 pp records set by Akolibed by a mile. First he skipped 900 on Chika chika hddt in 2020. Then he skipped 1,200 in a few months ago. Now he skipped 1,400 2 times a few days ago and now he has skipped 1,600 pp. Making it truly one of the best pp records of all time.

There are still like 10 maps accoligod can use to set 1.4ks and 1.5k that are actually doable, they are not a gamble

i mean, he's only 600pp behind mrekk. it's basically guaranteed at this point, especially with how OP stream maps are. 2000pp is actually obtainable, and this is the first time i've ever felt this way about this game.

There were few instances of 1.7k - 1.8k pp chokes before, he just menaged to do it, it's hard to say now if he will keep going with these, because mrekk is still 1k pp ahead of Akolibed and it's not a matter of 2 or 3 plays to overtake him.

Lets Just Point Out that sidetracked day Always was the Most overweighted map in the Game since IT was ranked and that merami could Play the hard Part in 63738375 BC (2019-2020) a few competitors for the sidetracked Score also where zylice, sytho, ninerik, Flaro etc. I personally think that Valley of THE damned ist more impressive than sidetracked day Just Look Back 2 years ago people where joking about getting 1,8k before 1,3k and a 11 Star before a 10 Star FC ON sidetracked day

bro, that map is impossible. only akolibed can play that map. the only other person from this planet that got close to fc'ing that map was merami. that's it (and merami is probably the most gifted player on speed). flow aim combined with 290BPM streams = HELL. and you also need stamina cuz there are a shitton of deathstreams. i believe it's pretty accurate! valley of the damned is easier than sidetracked day because the flow aim component is lacking compared to the other map.

no one other than prime aetrna and accolibed can touch that map, and its worth less than it used to be. in 2020 this score would be worth 1.9-2k pp so 1.7k is super low for something of this magnitude
