I just went into highschool and all my friends have gone to another school. No one talks to me and its just eating me up inside. This song helps when im sitting at lunch alone.

can’t help but yell along to this one. Reminds me of my good buddy Rob from college. He left after freshman year fighting depression and a few years ago decided a bullet was better than what he had going on. He passed right around the time I was stuck at home due to garbage grades that came from my own struggles with MH and to support my mom in her second battle with cancer. It was around this time I decided to move across the country with almost no money and pursue my dream career despite my family telling I’d end up homeless. My childhood best friend’s father is the one who convinced me to follow my dreams. A year after I went all in and was actually excelling at my new career, managing 250 employees at 24 yrs old, he was found in his garage with the car running, a week later my grandfather had a massive stroke. I didn’t make either of their funerals due to work obligations and kick myself about it all the time. I’ve been messed up for years about a lot of losses, been homeless, spent 12 days in the ICU from stress induced seizures, did 30 mins of CPR on another childhood best friend when he OD’ed…I’m just now finding this band and I finally feel like I’m working through a lot. Ecstatic to say that my mom remains cancer free to this day, my childhood best friend is 3 years sober, my neurological tests came back “impeccable”, and I smile when thinking of my fallen friends and family instead of sobbing. TSSF feels like that last piece of the puzzle that finally got put into place! 👉🏻

I graduate high school in about six months and this song really hit me as soon as I read the first few lyrics. I’m not totally ready to leave and move on and I’m going to be so damn heartbroken when my friends leave or if I have to leave my friends. This part of my life sort of sucks and I truly don’t want to move on in life because I’m terrified. I know that sounds sad but at least I have this song to be my crutch until that scary day of me walking across the stage inevitably comes... I love my senior year so far and I’ve been cherishing my days and appreciating everything so I guess that’s good. I just don’t want to lose it all.

I graduated yesterday from high school, and as I drove to my school, I played this song. Played it on the way home as well. Thought of all my friends that I would see over the summer, and over college breaks. Also thought of my friends going into the army that I may never see again. I love all those guys.

Jun 17, 2011... Was the summer after I graduated high school. What a care-free time that was. This was the summer right before all of our friend group split up to make our stake in life. Some went to college far away, some got trapped working dead-end jobs, others went in to trades. Some of these people I haven't seen since that summer of 2011. It's too bad we can't go back and relive those times again.

Today was supposed to be my college graduation but I fucked up so now all my friends, my classmates, and everyone I knew from school are having the time of their lives while i'm sitting here wondering where the fuck it all went wrong. It sucks to know that they're all leaving and i'm gonna be stuck here for another semester. I wish I could have talked to them more. Instead of sitting in a corner in the classroom, anxious about what they would think of me. All the stress that's been going on these past few months, the sadness, the grief, the hatred that I have for myself. I feel like I can't move on from this. I'm afraid of what the future may hold if there's even a future for me at all. Like Parker, I can't help but be pissed of with what's going on in my life. Even though some things are well beyond my control. To all of you out there I hope you enjoy school while it lasts. Love and cherish the moments you have with your friends. If you're failing don't hesitate to reach out. Talk to somebody, anybody. God knows I wish that I did because being left alone will absolutely break your heart.

Definitely the best modern Pop Punk band. Though I love The Wonder Years, TSSF put out 2 bangers for albums. Hardly ever do I hear an album that I don't get bored with halfway through or takes me halfway to like the album.

Not really. I like sharing new bands with my friends. Music shouldn't EVER be about "getting rich" it's your fucking soul bleeding out without boundaries and touching everyone it comes in contact with. Or at the very least, making everyone's head nod and putting a smile on their face.
