god how i miss this time. saw them back in 2013 on their first EU tour the crowd was just as nuts as in the video. in fact it was so heavy that filming was apparently impossible, since the only clips i could find on YT were two clips, each around 20 seconds long. thats it. obviously the show was way too fun to film anyways, so the only footage i have from this night is a pic of Parker and me in front of their van, wich was parked directly in front of the venue's main entrance, at a very busy nighttime district main street in Cologne haha. glad they werent robbed that night also saw Real Friends at the same venue a year later and their vocalist hopped into the crowd asking people for weed INSTANTLY after they finished their set good times. unfortunately this kind of small intimate shows became quite rare

The classic crowd rousers vs. still sing-alongers argument, lol. Honestly, i can hardly enjoy a show with excessive stage diving and crowd surfing 'cause I just want to sing along with a bunch of other people and feel close to strangers in a sweaty, dark room (hah). I simply don't feel connected to anyone when getting hit in the face or jumped on top of. It puts me on edge and detracts from my enjoying the show. But that's just me, crowd surf and mosh away if that's ya thing

Don't get me wrong, this band is absolutely amazing but i really just can't understand how with so much energy around them, kids singing along, stage diving like crazy, and crowd surfing, the band basically just stands there looking like they're not stoked and having a blast while playing. I just wish they had a bit more energy. Great video though. This band does rule. Amazing.
