The little girl (Abby) Brooklyn Rae Silzer was phenomenally talented & beautiful; she's also got such a beautiful smile; & the (StepxDaughter) Actress Cassidy Mack & (Mike) sang perfectly together. Great Story👍👍

Deborah, OH, I do agree with you. LOVE the message. Love makes a family, not necessarily blood. Rosemary, Abby/Sophie, Jen, Maggie, & John became a family. 'Trust doesn't come easily.' It has to come, to stay.

Thats nice, but the people like me, who read these "reviews" or comments only want to know if its a good movie, worth watching & not any of the details of what happens in the movie. Now I know exactly what happens & its killed off any wonder & suspense I had only after watching 5 minutes of it & Im sorry I went to check the comments, so, Im off to find another movie to watch instead of the one where -the girl gets a new family.

I LOVE THE STORY IT HAS FAMILY TIE AND FAMILY VALUE IT JUST MADE ME CRY MISSING MY GRANDMOTHER WHO USED TO ALSO TELL ME THEIR LOVE STORY WITH MY GRANDFATHER, AND SHE WOULD END UP SINGING THEIR LOVE SONG.. FUN TO LISTEN TO. IT WAS A HAPPY MOMENT TOGETHER THE LAST TIME I VISITED HER BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY. THE MOVIE WAS TOUCHING I ENJOYED WATCHING IT .

Why is this not a blockbuster ? I had never heard of it and absolutely captivating. Joe Crump is a magician at the helm and Brooklyn Rae Silzer something else. The whole cast is awesome - 20 stars !!!!

This was a wonderful movie! For those who are confused about who Abby really is, what the doctor saw on her back and on the x-rays... Because trust me, I was confused too, but this is what I found after searching: "Abby has been abused, and is now on the run, fearful of being taken back to her abusers. On two occasions she attempts to run away from Maggie’s care because she is fearful of being taken away and returned to an unsafe situation."

Wow I am speechless, I have no words, Verbally stumped, Vocally hindered, Cannot speak, Auditorially vacant, Without comment, (Ok, who needs a thesaurus, and I proudly follow Monty Python’s style) As for this movie, it is a good watch, I give it six thumbs up, 72 ice cream sandwiches, fourteen fools, a sunny day, mounds of laughter and tears, a walk through the woods, sledding through a meadow, and the proverbial partridge in a pear tree. Cudos to the entire cast and crew, I sincerely hope to see another production/movie from ya’all, ‘till then.

Watching this movie makes me think about my 2 grandmas my mom’s mom and my dad mom she pass in 2003 then 2007 my mom mom passed then my aunt from out of town plus my aunt and uncle then 2021 my mom on May 22 in the hospital sad story

"Hearts broken, hope shaken...U needed love 2 help you heal....Trust doesn't come easily....My heart is here 4 the taking...I'm here/home 2 stay!" Ohhhh my goodness gracious! This is such an endearing movie re: universal concepts of familial etc love(s) universally. The nursing home/assisted living center; school library & music room etc locations were like great accent marks vs. scouted locations, that lent themselves to the storylines! Kudos 2 the Writers, Editors, Actors, Costume & Set designers 4 ensemble efforts 2 put this fabulous 'treatment' 2gether!! The 'spot on' music was definitely integral 2 the plots. This movie was amazing it showed how to trust when we can follow our hearts. It had much feeling amongst the people in the film .They acted the parts as if it were real especially the 2 girls.
