That's true, but it is also good to keep in mind that our ancestors have been exclusively on the ground for much, much longer than they could be considered human.

Wow! Those were 2 of the best written and most interesting short stories I've seen in a while! Excellent starts of a series or even better a book series. Of course the narration was impeccable and engrossing as always.

iv been following the reupload of the series channel, when one comperes the old narrators to the news ones the level of quality shines in the news one are a lot a of fun, and old ones really make you feel nostalgic.

I'd say they more likely were a analog to some animal, like a Lemur or something with an ape structure but not it's proportions with the way George was described as being imperportional alongside behing massive by comparison.

It didn't take humans 66 years. 58 years after Orville good old Yuri made it to space and back (alive), the moon was "only" an extension of that

God never blessed us with claws. So we made spears. God never blessed us with a tough hide, so we made cloth and armor. God never blessed us with fast legs, so we tamed horses, made vehicles. And God never blessed us with wings, so we flew to the moon. The things we are bad at? Never blessed by God with? We are better at than the strongest animal. Ironically it's the things that we are good at that we have more trouble with. Communicating deep thoughts, organization.

It at least needs a part 2 so we can see how that trip ended even if it was slightly dark by George dying at the end for why it couldn't last beyond that first voyage.
