In July 2016, a young ghost hunter died in mysterious circumstances after visiting a supposedly haunted property. Authorities hastily ruled it a suicide, but this was not a satisfactory answer for many people, including those closest to him who are still trying to understand the strange death of Gaurav Tiwari.

Several warning signs here: 1. The fight with his wife happened the night before he died. 2. The fight was about his profession of which he was very passionate about, something that wouldn’t easily be changed. Was his wife having second thoughts?? 3. His death makes no sense. He was locked in a bathroom, strangled, and no murder weapon. 4. There are conveniently no witnesses but his wife and father-in-law were in the house at the time. 5. His family didn’t notice the strangulation marks around his neck until the police pointed them out. This seems more like a murder and cover-up than paranormal activity.

People who commit suicide quite often show no clear sign of their plan. In fact, it often happens that a person who has made the decision becomes calmer and more peaceful as he expects his problems to end soon. Another consideration is his recent marriage. Often a person commits suicide just when it seems he's finally got everything he wanted. For some, they realize that despite having everything, they're still not happy - so they despair. Also, there had been an argument with his wife. Though they'd supposedly made up, it still may have been too painful. I don't claim that the death is explained by these fact; I only want to point out that we haven't really ruled out suicide, just because we don't see a reason for it.

Clearly, we only have the wife and father's word for what happened, and that the argument had been sorted. It wouldn't have surprised me if the father wasn't there at the time, but had been called round by the wife. Or if he was there, but had taken the wife's side in the argument and been haranguing his son to get a 'normal' job.

I love how people try to act like they know all about suicide and the whys and how’s. No one knows what it’s like unless u your self have sincerely tried or did and sadly ur not with us no more. I’ve had 3 family members choose to go that way and every way was different just like every person is dif. But if you commit suicide what ever u used to do it should still be with u.

utsav garg Dabbling in the spirit world opens doorways to these entities to follow or attach themselves to you. There are no such things as ghosts, but there are demonic entities that manifest as dead relatives and try to work their way into your life. Unfortunately curious people go looking for them thinking these are hauntings without realising that you need to be a person of faith with an understanding of exactly what type of entity you are messing around with. These things are dangerous, do not go looking for them. Exorcism (not just any but the Catholic church seems to understand how to contend with these things) is the only way to get rid of them. Some manifest violently and some are more insidious in that they attach themselves to you subtly and begin to take effect in your life without you noticing until too late. They are not friendly or "lost souls" but fhey come to bring ruin. Stay away from such direct your curiosity towards finding God and leave such things to those who really know what these things are and how to fight them. There is a war being waged but 80% of the world has no idea what is really going on.

Gaurav's death is itself proof of the existence of spirits and demonic forces. Believe me, from personal experience i can tell you that being followed and haunted by one or more evil spirits is worse than the worst hell on earth. Most people simply cant survive the torture....and become a victim of such spirits and demons. Do not play with Ouija boards and spirits. Do not mess with spirits and ghosts. They will teach you a lesson which can cost you your life.
@07sushy

@@residentidiot9694 There are such things as ghosts (just another word for spirits or lost souls). There are good spirits and bad spirits. Lot of them are frustrated and tortured by their hellish existence...and they unleash this frustration on people who mess with them. Gaurav should have listened to his wife and backed out from his meddlings in the spirit world, but by then it was too late. Demonic forces and evil spirits are hard to deal with but love is the biggest force on earth and through patient loving prayer and guidance they can also be conquered. I conquered my own demon with guidance i received from the tv series 'A Haunting' and now i am free from that hell. Someone must fight this war in India and i hope an able person will carry on the work that Gaurav started.

I think that his wife/father hid the rope etc. that he used to hang/strangle himself with. I could imagine that suicide is shameful in a culture like India, so they might have done everything they could to hide that fact soon after they found him. And regarding him not being depessed or anything; you can't always see that on people. Some people hide it really well. And money isn't a factor either, as even billionaires sometimes commit suicide.

I'm an Indian and I remember Gaurav Tiwari's death was quite a news in the offbeat circles. Another theory that hasn't been covered here is the Gaurav's trip to 'Cursed Bhangarh fort' in Rajasthan. It is considered to be the most haunted place of India and Gaurav investigated it. He quashed all the rumours about haunting of Bhangarh and said that it is a hoax. Bhangarh is pretty dangerous and is closed all the time. There is a legendary story attached to it. So, Gaurav came back and won alot of accolades for his trip and it was around that time his death happened. So yes, paranormal involvement can't be denied but yes as others have said..it can be a murder.

Gotta say: Even though he seemed happy, that does NOT mean he was not depressed. People who are depressed and even suicidal can be so good at hiding it that no one can tell. I've read the comments and listened to the introduction and I cannot for the life of me see what all the fuss was/is about. Anyone who thinks the involvement of Britain in India was wholly benign needs to read the history of the Honourable East India Company and consider the causes of the Indian Mutiny and the various atrocities carried out by the British Army against civilians. I would say that your intro was understated and even-handed and anyone taking "offence" is only seeking an excuse to grind their own particular axe at your expense. My view for what it is worth.

Just a quick story suggestion : Please make a video about the Travis Walton case; Although Hollywood has already shared their version of this story (via 'Fire in the Sky' ), I find it challenging to discern fact from fiction (due to the many fictional additions to the story in order to fit a specific storyline). I've personally met Travis Walton whilst he was visiting Colorado and he's either an incredibly skilled deceptor, or he sincerely believes that the story he tells is true. There's plenty of intriguing corroborating evidence to investigate! Keep doing what you do and we'll keep watching intently!

Right off the bat my gut tells me that he was murdered by his wife, perhaps found out he was cheating?. It's really not hard to kill someone in a bathroom, lock the door and close it then break it open again so it appears to have been locked from the inside (depending on the lock). Perhaps she/they didn't notice the ligature marks were left behind. Or maybe he actually did hang himself and the cord was covered up by family wanting to protect their loved one from shame. It has happened before. I could see the girls father helping cover up a murder of passion, but not really the guy's own father. I can however see the guy's father trying hide the suicide from authorities.

Though it has never been able to be proven the police believe Tiwari's death was suicide and that his father covered the fact up, to save further shame and disgrace being visited on the family. The presence of his father at the scene is thought to be his wife calling family as a form of intervention to persuade the "errant" husband to mend his ways and get a "proper" job. His wife has claimed several times that Tiwari was going to do just this, before the accident, a "fact hotly disputed by everyone else who knew him (other than his father) and that in fact he was determined to continue on his chosen path and that his wife could like it or lump it. Sad indeed when a man has so little family support that suicide seems the only viable option to life long misery.

I never knew that the others in his group reported him as dying of a heart attack. I wonder why people reported that when none of them were at his house!? He didn't commit suicide because there was 0 evidence to show. He didn't want to die and his wife didn't want him to die she was visibly shaken as I recall from the news articles on it. This was sensationalized by the press, they made fun of the family saying they couldn't possibly believe he died without foul play by the wife. I believe she was placed under watch to make sure she didn't take her own life after his death.

Have you of the phrase, "don't scare yourself to death?" In some incidents where great fear, terror, or trauma can occur, people can literally faint or black out: a form of intense shock. I don't know for sure, but the way Gaurav was found in the bathroom with bulging eyes, intense sweat, and gasping for air. That could be an intense shock from sheer terror. Something quite literally scared him to death. He clearly pissed something inhuman off, and whatever it was used fear to deliver the fatal blow.

I’ve always wondered if anyone has ever been murdered by the paranormal. However, no common day pathologist or L.O. agency would ever categorize any death as such because it’s not the “norm”. But what if, ya know? If this story is legit, in every sense of the word, then this would be a prime example of a death due to the paranormal. Something to think about…

people with suicidal thoughts or tendencies who act on them rarely if ever express their unhappiness to those around them. I lost my father 10 years ago to a suicide and it was complete shock to everyone in the family. He was successful in his personal life and for all intents and purpose seemed happy. Don’t be so dismissive of if here just because those around him didn’t think he was depressed.

I think the only and most probable explanation is that the guy killed himself, and then his wife and/or father simply grabbed and hid whatever it was he used to hang himself, in an effort to cover up his suicide, when you add what the friends did on social media, which was lie in the hopes of making people believe he suffered a heart attack, then the fact that suicide in that country/culture is frowned upon, add in a little simple logic and common sense an you have the explanation, well in this case anyway lol, love the videos friend keep up the great work.

Unfortunately, this theory of yours casts the deceased's wife and father as dishonest and calculating. I simply cannot agree with your assessment because of this. Knowing that energy is neither created nor destroyed, but only changes form (1st Law of Thermodynamics), is it so hard to believe that consciousness, once housed by a living body can continue to exist in the next world? To me it seems as logical as night following day, but, I can understand how many people don't believe it. This man helped thousands and I can attest that in my experience, no good deed goes unpunished.

Very glad to have found your channel, I eat live and breath paranormal activity. This was/ is a true loss to the paranormal community. Gaurav wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. As a reptilian contacte and magnet for paranormal activity, sometimes it's easy to underestimate what your facing when it is invisible. Most of the nasty entities "can bite" and are mind parasites.others can cause physical harm. Whether or not this is a paranormal death is debatable, but when you hang around devils you never come out smelling of roses. R.I.P brother. May you find the answers in the next stage, that haunted you in this one.

I would put it down to one of three things. He fell on something that crushed his windpipe, He hanged himself and the family covered it up because of the shame or either his wife or her father killed him. The only people who said the door was locked or he was not hanging was his wife and her father. I would find it strange if as the video says he was leaving in the middle of the night and not coming home till morning as normally these groups set up before the night begins, did they ever look into if he was having an affair?
@-Reagan
@-Reagan 11 ай бұрын
I had exactly the same suspicions as you have elucidated here. That’s mainly what I wanted to say but, I will list my theories in case you’d interested. It is far easier to hang oneself than typically thought. It also occurred to me he could have slipped in the shower and crushed his trachea on the ledge of the bath or sink. I, as well considered that his father and his wife were having marital strife. It’s possible he was depressed and she was covering it up. She might have hidden the evidence of hanging by quickly pulling him down and hiding the implement he’d used - either out of feelings of guilt and shame, or to protect him from judgment or to conceal the way he was injured from his family for their own sake or so she wouldn’t be blamed. It would be interesting to know if she remains with the family after his death. It might’ve been a combination of things, emotionally complex. It’s very odd that authorities ruled it suicide without any evidence of that. A death by misadventure or a verdict of death by suffocation with unknown causes would be more appropriate. Misadventure would have been the most merciful to his family as well as accurate and it would have allowed them to collect any death benefits, as well as bury him without a shadow that they’re now forced to live with.

Why did the comrades of my Viking/Norsmen Ansisters ghosts kill him and a few others? Why do they want to keep their ways and that script a secret, to the point of killing? Why don't they let others help Them like they used to? It helps to leave offerings out for such ghosts, such as food, and their favorite things.

Gurav said that he was being followed and watched by something. Maybe he felt so deeply about a spirit following him that he became delusional. He could have strangled himself on a regular basis to leave evidence of a spirit stalking him. And it's possible that the last time he did it, he went too far. It's apparently impossible to strangle yourself to death, but it may be possible to put pressure on your own neck until you have difficulty breathing. So if it was self inflicted, it wouldn't necessarily mean a sexual fetish. It could have been a psychological problem.

Could be a mistake, or it could have been that since this was a full time job he was visiting more than one location in a day- and India has a massive population that live pretty close together (in places like cities at least) .... I’m from a historical area of the US, and in one work day you could definitely sightsee several “haunted” locations. My area is also rather suburban so locations are less together than those in a major city in India would be. If I could do it I’d assume he could. I have no idea what the truth is, just had a random thought.

I hate it when people say they couldn’t of killed themselves as they were happy and weren’t depressed or suicidal and had everything they wanted in life. As a sufferer of depression myself. I know all too well that you become somewhat of an expert at hiding your true feelings. I suffered (and still do) for many years and was extremely unhappy and suicidal and no one knew anything about it for many years including close family and friends. No one would of ever believed that I was as unhappy as I was and that I was very close to taking my own life as I put on the persona of a happy man and seemed to have everything I wanted in life but it couldn’t of been further from the truth. I just bottled it all up and carried on like normal which I can tell you is the worst thing you can possibly do as it will end badly in nearly every case. I didn’t take my own life although I attempted it. But keeping those feelings bottled up for so long have made me a shadow of the man I used to be and i fear I will never be the same man I was. I implore if you’re feeling like this then speak out and get help. Don’t feel ashamed for how you feel. Don’t make the same mistakes I did

2010 I remember going to the mailbox at 3am I worked 2nd shift On the way there, there was this black cloudy mass at the corner of my front yard where my driveway and road met I felt cold coming from it even though it was July Then on the way back from the mailbox I heard what sounded like a full on cocktail party from the Gold Room coming from my neighbor's direction Except as I moved the sound shifted slightly, like it was coming from a tube, or wormhole of some kind When I got to the corner of yard again I heard a voice say 'SHHH, SHUSH" then a voice focused on me and said 'Robert, Robert' To which I replied, you have the wrong person That weekend my uncle, Robert, stopped by to visit to tell me he just joined a ghost hunting team with his boss I warned him, that I've never had to hunt for spirits my entire life, they seem to find me. But if you're smart you will stop. Because those ghost tend to hunt back
