It was an otherwise uneventful Tuesday morning in Largo, Florida in March 2023, when lawyer Steven Cozzi left his desk to take a quick break.
With his documents still open on his computer screen, his phone still playing some background music, Steven left his office with obvious signs that he did not intend to be away for very long.
But this trip out to the communal office space - one that he had made hundreds of times over the years - would be amongst the last movements the young lawyer would ever make.
Steven entered the bathroom and he has not been seen since…

Wow. A plastic surgeon worrying about some negative online reviews effecting his career decides murdering a lawyer will help fix his problem? Just goes to show how dumb people can be even when they have everything going for them.

Recent psych studies found the top 3 career choices for those with psychopathic personality traits are, in order: Corporate CEO, Medicine, Law Enforcement. They go for roles that fulfil their need for power, status & control. Example: Dr Harold Shipman killed an estimated 350 elderly patients during his 30 year career.

The surgeon was daringly bold to say the least. He went into the office building, staked out- waited and followed the victim into the bathroom, murdered him there and walked out the building unnoticed and with the victim's corpse, loaded it into his vehicle and drove off without interference and notice. This sounds like a scene from a movie or tv show.

1) There is NOTHING in this video to suggest that this doctor was anything other than a rich, successful, and hard working physician. Every one said that he was a good guy. 2) Americans don't need a concrete motive to murder other Americans. 33% (1/3) of all American homicides since 1965 still remain unsolved. That's because most of them were "stranger crimes" with no social link between the murderer and his victim. Many of these are what is known as "thrill kills", or murdering strangers just for the sheer fun of it. This doctor didn't even need a motive to murder that lawyer. He would be following a long American tradition of murders with no apparent motive if he didn't.

There are special large bags collected for hazardous human tissue etc. waste that are sealed taken away and burned. You don't keep your eye on a restroom for 2 hours. You go to use the restroom, you find it's occupied, you forget about it and go use another one. You don't think about the original restroom again. Apply this to everybody who works there. It would be several hours (indeed it was) before anybody really started to notice.

The young doctor being known for being worried about his appearance and how people view him, as well as his obsession with social media attention, shows his narcissism. And at the heart of ALL killer’s, is narcissism. You have to believe your life is more important than the life you’re taking. That’s why you’re taking it. I don’t think people truly understand just how toxic, and destructive, people with narcissistic personalities are. That might be the single most destructive and dangerous personality trait in modern society.

Omg JTL Kevin ... Seeing you cover this is crazy to me. I live in Largo. This happened literally a half a mile down the road from me. I'm talking, I live on the same road as the law office. That same night that this happened, my husband & I were at the store right down the street from the Law Office, & I was wondering why there were so many police vehicles in the parking lot. Had no idea this was the reason until I had seen it on the news. I'm genuinely confused as to what could be the reason, as to why the he would of done this to Steven. My thoughts & prayers are with Steven's husband & family. I hope they can find him & bring him home soon. Just a little side note here, nothing to do with the case. So forgive my change in tune. If anyone ever does happen to visit this area. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend visiting Indian Rocks Beach. Like in the video where Kevin mentioned. It is absolutely beautiful. It is my favorite beach to go to, out of all the beaches. & I'm not far from Clearwater Beach, which always ranks in top 10 ten lists. Don't get me wrong, CWB is amazing too, but I love IRB for the serenity of it. It's not as busy as the others. Also, another one is John's Pass in Madeira Beach. It's very nice place. It's a touristy type place, but it's fun to walk up & down the shops & restaurants. Then end on the huge docks at the end of the strip, right before dusk & sunset. You're almost guaranteed to see dolphin everytime. They love it in there because it's a channel, where boats can cross under the bridge.

I am so glad you chose to cover this case. I had read about it online and was just dumbfounded that this took place within his office bathroom, with others in the office. So senseless and tragic. But let me watch now cuz I'm sure I don't have all the details... or probably even half of them. Hope you are enjoying your Easter Sunday & thanks for the upload! EDIT: So a communal bathroom and shared office space... even more people to have possibly heard what went down in there; or perhaps even seen had someone walked in at the time. That guy, the perp, really took his chances with this and getting the body out of there. SECOND EDIT: The perp probably locked the door at the time, but one still could have heard him getting m*rdered. And I don't know why he would even bother wasting his time trying to clean up the blood. Did he really think no one would notice blood left behind or the fact that this man was missing?
@sackettfamily4685
@sackettfamily4685 Жыл бұрын
It possible he wasn't killed there.....they found evidence of sedatives. Maybe he hit his head going down, unconscious. And head wounds bleed profusely. Though we obviously don't know for sure. He could've done what house(TV show) did, injection by surprise.
@fernfunk

there was probably hardly any noise since mr murder-doctor would have gone right at him with a syringe full of sleepy stuff which would have put him out in seconds. the blood as someone mentioned was maybe from hitting head as he fell down and most likely very much not intended- what a pain to have to clean that up. i reckon he sedated him to the point of death or almost death and then planned to suffocate him in the bag. while on the call...

I don’t believe that the doctor is a sweet man, he must be a psychopath so people must have seen some signs. I feel for the lawyers family, this is such a meaningless death. The fact that this man was attacked and murdered especially given what his loved ones described as a kind and gentle individual makes it all the more tragic. The comments his partner made at the end of the video really stuck with me. He said that doing something to help others who were struggling is the best way to honor his partner - that’s a beautiful comment and does inspire me to do just that ❤️❤️❤️
