Kinda a revolving door of getting baited by clickbait terms (as zero was cheekily using here), then feeding the outrage culture to justify getting more juicy gossip. Twitter smash, reddit smash, it's all where the cancer of the community breeds (Instead of it being a meritocracy, AKA who is actually the best player? You get the non-competitors and cultural parasites/trolls feeding into the viral gossip culture, then the pros need to pivot and respond on a dime to avoid corporate cancellation).

its probably a combination of those who are super skeptical of faze due to past happenings in terms of payments/salaries, as well as people who think that just because you're in tier 1 org and win tournaments means you're insanely rich, which obviously isn't the case especially with smash payouts. Spargo asking for donations to go to Japan, probably rubbed people the wrong way because they fall into either or both of the things I listed. But ultimately how much he makes shouldn't matter to people

If you grow up in a low income area with low income friends or family, someone spouting off about how you make so much money makes you stick out and it brings out the scavengers. Sometimes those people are your childhood friends, sometimes they're your family. You can quickly get surrounded by people who think you're their meal ticket and will pressure you, make you feel ungrateful or disconnected from your own home area or friend groups just to try to get a piece of the pie they think you have. Dealing with that as a teenager would undoubtedly be even tougher.

Wonder what zeros stance is on Ecchi/Hentai after all the curfluffle with him and his GF (now wife I believe) when she started OnlyFanz.
