I feel like theres a fundamental disconnected between what directors think are intereating and what horror fans wanna see. Its is so much more creepy or unsettling never knowing those things

That was known information, but if you read more into the actual quote about that it seems like the third movie is gonna take place close to where the beginning of the first movie took place and it sound like she is gonna be very bloody and messed up... so there's that

Glad I watched this. Now I have a better idea of what they're planning with these three films. Chapter 1 wasn't great, but let's see where it goes.
