A strap can truly alter a handbag. I think that bag being so heavy, a wider strap just makes sense. And I love the color with it. Despite it not having the color of the bag in the strap. You can always get another one. I’m sure it helps with the carry. So proud of you sticking to your no buy month. Hoping for your strength. 😂

Oh my... aren't we glad we got you that digital scale!? I had no idea how heavy these bags can get, and the material being so rugged and resilient just adding additional weight. I dream about this bag ALOT but knowing Dooney, I knew she’d be heavy and have been holding back. The fact that it’s 2 lbs and some change empty but almost DOUBLED in weight made me gasp a bit. Really hoping the guitar strap levels out the weight distribution when carrying ❤ The strap is so damn cute btw 🥰

I definitely think the guitar strap helps even out the distribution when I wear it on my satchel ,but still heavy ! Does t stop me from wearing it Love it

I change out straps all the time! I’m with you, the guitar straps are so comfy. I double up my Dooney satchel straps and shoulder carry.

That strap looks great! Those satchels do get heavy. A few months, I purchased on eBay the D&B Toscana strap (looks like D&B are now selling them on the website). I needed something to even out the weight of the massive Buckley bag.😅

I have a large in ecru and used a guitar strap that was leopard and it was stunning ❤ Lupus came and I had to give it to my sister in law who loves it just the same as I did 😢 she is still going strong

Hi Andrea! I love that you showed the weight of the bag empty and filled. I love this silhouette from Dooney, but it's too heavy for me. I even tried the nano; also too heavy. I'm hoping Dooney will release this style in lightweight coated cotton, or nylon. Until then, I'm going to admire it on you! Looks beautiful on you! The guitar strap looks great with your satchel! 🎉 I have done the same thing as you just now. But when I looked at you standing up with that strap?Get something that matches better.Please because that doesn't match good at all for my eyes and i'm an artist. But I bought at least three Straps even leather. And they take off the weight I hate these dooney straps that they Are now starting to make thicker ones on smaller purses which really makes me laugh. And then I take that nice big strap and I put it on every single one of my bags.
