It is a gross injustice for Nelson Asaytono not being in Top 40 of the PBA greatests while Chito Loyzaga and Ato Agustin are in.

Very good player pero he's more concerned of personal stats than team basketball...masydaong bwakaw. When he gets his hand of the ball, 90% hindi na papasa yan. Swift/Sunkist had more success and championships when they benched him and maximized the talent of Veregel Meneses instead. Likewise San Miguel had more success when they traded him in the late 90s/early 2000s. Of course he has the right to feel bad, but im not at all surprised he didnt make it to the Top 40 greatest PBA players of all time.

Asaytono ang pure breed pinoy pero mas mahilig pa sa dakdak kesa sa simpleng lay-up.....pero players natin ngayon e wala nang nakakagawa nyan kahit fil-am pa. Kaya astig talaga players mga 90's.😊

Nelson Asaytono should be in the top 25. Not putting him even in the top 40 is an insult to PBA fans in 1990s. Alvin Patrimonio and Nelson are the two best pure power forwards in PBA. Nelson's overall impact on the game has more significance than not winning an MVP. He is a 10x PBA all star .. that is 10 years.

Pag humihingi daw sya ng pasa sa mga import, sinasabi nya : "Give me the bull". Ayun, kaya sya tinawag na "The Bull". Edit: Naalala ko may calendar kami ng Purefoods dati....I remember seeing him, Lastimosa, Codinera, Patrimoniio, Pumaren among other players that went on to be great role players in other teams. It reminded me of the old OKC when Russ, KD and the Beard were together. Funny thing about that calendar, I can't recall if it was Willie Generalao or Padim Israel were posing in a Tomahawk dunk position, when non of those players could even dunk😂 Good times. Shout out to my fellow 90s kids on here!
