I feel like nobody really talks about how stressful uni/college ACTUALLY is. Like everyone jokes about it, but it doesn't seem to be properly talked about imo.
So I've recently returned to uni after a year off and well...it has been a rollercoaster and a half and it has only been two weeks :)))))))
I'll keep you guys all updated on my uni journey (if it still is one lol) and other stuff in more videos/on my insta

My first year of university, I had a 1.6 GPA. Took a break, went to a different college, and my GPA is more than 2x my previous one. I also switched my major 3 times until I figured out I wanted to do nursing. Everyone goes at their own pace. As long as you don’t give up, it’s never too late to start something 💕

I survived uni by having people in every course I could ask questions from and share notes and study together. I also got to see I wasn't the only one struggling with the content.

I'm actually in a similar position. It's hard to keep up with everything and stay sane menatlly. The only "motivation" I've found is to keep repeating: commit, commit, commit. Keep working, keep studying, keep doing your best. It doesn't show immediately, but it's worth in the long run. I wish you all the best in this journey. We all have to go through this, but it's different for everyone. I think I speak for all your viewers when I say: we're here to support you :) Edit: I posted this comment before finishing the video. So, when you talked about not liking your degree (which is visible) it really hit me, because the same happened to me. I understand the stress of "you have to get a good degree in a good uni", but that's not really true. Yes, you have to find something that will support you financially, but it has to be something that interest you, that excites and motivates you. If this is not it, then hell girl go out there, find what you like and pursue it. It's better to live happy excelling at something you like, than trapped in the degree "you should get to be successful".

I went into U of M politics in my first year. I’m not gonna disclose my gpa I’m just gonna talk about my experience. I was in environmental sciences, politics, and entry economics. The impression those classes left me with were terrible. My profs made politics, environment sciences, to a lesser degree economics look just as stupid as it does on tv. They were walking parodies of the bumbling image of government and lefty issues I’ve seen my whole life. I felt like I pretty much paid for a huge joke. Now we live in a semi post quarantine world and I have a week to pick courses or wait until the winter semester. The work was insane, and the reward was just felt so nonexistent. The only thing that felt good was vaping outside the building before a midterm, getting the dirty looks, and seeing them turn to looks of shock and awe as I’m the first one slap my midterm on the desk and walk out the exam room.

I'm also taking a year out due to health issues, but I have to admit that this video is very discouraging. I hope I don't have as hard a time as you have
