I love the Stringham project because of the attention to detailing and thought put into it. The juxtaposition of different colours, textures and patterns blends seamlessly as though they were meant to be. Such an honest and timeless space tailored for a family. Studio McGee wins every time. :)

The building of high-end spec homes is very familiar to me. My dad was a third generation, residential painter with his own business, and the last ten to fifteen years of his career he was working pretty specifically for three or four builders in Little Rock, Arkansas that built new homes and also remodeled existing homes. My dad's specialty was cabinet finishes. He was really an artist, and I remember going out to see the houses he was working on. He would've loved watching these videos! I really love warm colors, and this home feels like a fine French omelette!

I love your style. And oh my goodness you did silver handles in the kitchen, who are you? I thought you loved gold/brass! hehe Oh wait, the huge lights in the kitchen are brass... and splashed it in the rest of the house. I guess you're still the Studio McGee I'm used to :p Doing a floral pattern in the bathroom isn't my style, but there is something I really like about it. :) I did a checkerboard pattern in my house in the 90's, definitely a great idea. :)
