Once we get past the next moon the bite will be on fire. Late April into May is when we usually see the #30+ bass push into that body of water.

You did pretty good. I fished it on the 9th and it was pure lockjaw. No bunker whatsoever but there was thousands of them there. Try launching out of lemon Creek you need to get the $10 launch permit which is easy enough to get But it's kayaks only. Most guys who fish out of great kills Park out by the waterfront and wheel there kayaks into the boat launch. Don't park in the boat launch or they will ticket you. Swap the troubles for a single hook on the rapalas and you're in business. Cheers have a good one.
