The Modern Age is missing from the audio for some reason. I guess my brother forgot to press record for that one. Also, excuse the random clicking throughout the show, my brother forgot to turn off the mouse clicks and was using the computer while recording the show...
Probably some of Julian's funniest drunken banters on this one.
My sisters were in the very front. They said everyone started to leave after the Beastie Boys so there was probably about 100 people in the crowd by this time. That's why Julian keeps saying thank you to those who stayed.

Man, I love his drunken stage banter here. He just seemed so sad. Nowadays, his banter is still good and he sounds so happy and cracks up like a little kid. Love u Jules!

agree with this entire thread. there are some great and hilarious moments that come from this but it's somehow a little sad...it reminds me of him saying that he doesn't remember a lot of the early days because he was so drunk and felt like he had a five-year hangover even after he quit drinking. it's nice to see him now, he looks so much happier and clear-headed :)

I remember Julian jumping into the crowd towards the end and losing a necklace. He then went back to plead with the crowd for the necklace. I don't know is this true or not, but I heard he got it back at some point when he went to the Kroq studio...

Finally someone mentioned it!!!!! Was looking for this moment , was so close when it happened and it’s one of my first concert memories. Also him getting tackled by some insane attendee on stage. Was a hard blind side tackle and I was shocked he was ok. Starting to doubt my memory of it but I was almost sure it happened as well. Distinctly remember the guitar player also getting panties stuck in his shoulder and throwing em off . I have my doubts about the necklace though, coulda sworn I saw girls ripping it apart in the pit

I am so annoyed at the people here in the US. In 2004 in the UK the Strokes were treated like Rod God Royalty. And here in this country everybody left after the freaking Beastie Boys? Maybe the promoters shouldn't have left the Strokes for the last act of the night - after a Rap group! wtf!!! This is the band that had just put out Is This It and Room on Fire!!! What a bunch of freaking idiots that audience was!!! Thank god for the few smart ones that stayed.

How ironic. The date i was watching this was 6/13/15. exactly 11 years later. and they're still fucking amazing. this is a priceless video. I've snuck into festivals just to the strokes/julian. This is an amazing piece of footage. i also saw them at weenie roast 2011

I was able to see them on their first US tour with the Mooney Suzuki and the Realistis. My friends and I also saw them on the next tour in support of Room On Fire which was with Regina Spektor and the Kings of Leon and I think that was KOL's first Us tour.

@@fartsooup Oh man, can’t believe it’s been almost 4 years. It was an absolute blast! I got right up to the front, just behind centre barrier. I remember they played Razorblade for the first time in a very long time, they only played albums 1-3 songs. At one point Julian got on the drums & went all Fred Flinstone (yabadabadooo) haha. Went solo and met some great people. Time of my life. Shoutout to Pedro and Brianna if you see this!
