To be upfront This is my favorite band of all time, but I haven’t seen one video where Casablancas remembers the words that I could recite backwards while in a coma, and… he can’t hit the notes he does in the studio, or the tone or cadence or the anything, I still would kill and/or die to see them live edit : live performance video.

Soy seguidor de The Strokes desde hace muchos años y puedo casi asegurar que la presentación de Eternal Summer en este show es lo mejor y lo mas representativo de ellos en los ultimos años, la energia, la anarquia y el desorden, lo informal, lo inperfecto y lo real es todo lo que the strokes representa y es genial tener bandas de contracultura en estos tiempos aún tocando!!!!

Julian should have a tablet on stage so he can "follow the bouncing ball" and remember the lyrics, no improv here.. just straight up mumbling randomness at times or forgetting where he is.

I always kinda knew Julian was a tyrant, but when he tried to get Fab to talk to the crowd in Portuguese and Fab was terrified, it made me fully realize what a terrifying dictator he is. lol I think as a person Julian is a really good guy, but in The Strokes he's Genghis Khan

It is his band and he’s the one that absorbs most of the criticism. Also he’s the one that started the band so he’ll be the one to finish it! Don’t get me wrong every member is absurdly talented and each can and has their own solo careers BUT when it comes to the strokes Julian is the leader and dictator

O que eu reparei nesses shows de 2017 e o desse ano é que o Julian depende do público pra fazer um bom show. No show desse ano parece que a maioria só conhecia as músicas que tocavam nas rádios nos anos 2000, o povo estava bem desanimado. Os shows de 2005 e o de 2011 estão no KZfaq, se vc assistir vai ver a diferença do público.
