I'm Lucky I discovered them twice, once I Heard their album when drunk then blacked out. Second time a friend put the album on and I didn't realise I heard it already until eternal summer was on. Moral of the story, get drunk.

Reminds me of the old album inserts that you could take out and learn the songs while you listened.This whole album screams bittersweet nostalgia and the band needs you to grasp it right on to decide whether you cry or laugh at the pain discovered so sweetly in its journey.

they truly are the kings of lofi rock, I have loved the strokes for the longest time and didn't even realize it was lofi, my music producer friend pointed it out to me, I started getting into lo-fi rock and little did I know i've been listening and loving it for a very long time, I wanna throw my music producer friend some love as he's always showing me great music, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Beaches ,it gives me Strokes vibes and I'm seriously so impressed, he did it all on his laptop

Cuando vivía con mi familia mi hermano menor ponía todos los días The Strokes a toda hora, llegó el punto donde me harté de ellos a pesar de que me gustaban. Ya han pasado algunos años desde que nos independizamos, cada quien está en un estado del país distinto y bueno, a veces pongo The Strokes mientras trabajo para recordar los viejos tiempo con él. Same here. When I first heard it in April of last year I thought it was good, but as the pandemic kept going on this album grew on me. It helped me so much, it still does. I relate so much to most of the lyrics from every song.

may 2021 this autoplayed in the background while i was busy writing a research paper. i couldnt care less to change the music playing in the background, didnt wanna break my flow state while working or whatever. im so glad i didnt. now, the strokes are my favorite band of all time

Ive honestly just heard of these guys because they popped up on my for you page and Im so in love with this album. Its nostalgic in a way that reminds me of classic songs from the 80s and 90s era. This is just a masterpiece.

I think what the Strokes are trying to say with this album is that the early albums were no fluke! What a fucking amazing album. Just as good as the early days. Feels so incredible to listen to them at their best again.
