When I play Norse, Kraken is often a complete game-changer for me at sea. I'll have completely lost the entire battle at sea, build on more dock, get heroic to get a free Kraken, spawn another, and then turn the entire situation around, I've done this a couple of times in PvP 1600+. It's an incredibly powerful myth unit. I think it does better as an army (or just a group of two) than most other myth units because of it's instant kill, and Greek's Scylia has to share kills (meaning less heads) which means is less good in pack: it's better suited in a lone wolf situation. All I care about is killing ships, and it's the only one with a Ship instant-kill.

The last time I played a water map I played with the greece, I had a skylla with 5 heads, which I kept healing, bjt then one eel swooped in and killed it in like 3-5 Hits. I was devastated.

The Leviathan can garrison units like a transport ship. I know it doesn't have an impact in direct combat on water, but I would have liked to see you discuss it or at least acknowledge it in passing. That's my only criticism though, great vid and I really enjoy these AoM videos!

I love this series, just a suggestion, but can you get more in detail, like showing fights between the units, make it like a tournament or something, and talk about the units in general more, some of us havent played this game for a long time and we forgot many mechanics and units

I never knew the Azure Dragon could levitate over water - thought he was strictly a land unit while the Dragon Turtle was his naval counterpart. I wish the Azure Dragon was restricted to land because that defeats the purpose of the Dragon Turtle in my opinion.

Man'o'war have 15 range ! Same for Jormund but 20. it isn't supposed to tank directly but more to kite. And also dont forget than ranged units can in group one tap someone (same goes for the egyptian crocodile where you rated him very bad) but they can one tap a unit in groups. I like your tests but I think you could get more tests and probably try with a friend to make the tests less ''random'' (I remember a group of 2 units not fighting in the melee tests)

One thing I like what Spirit of the Law does for his AOE2 videos, is he set-up groups of units for Similair costs. So lets say 3 Man o wars vs 4 Jormund Elver Or what about these in combination with a few ships. Anyway love the vid, keep it up.

For me Kraken is number 1, you just make them few and put them together and they will control that area, however other mith units can't instantly kill, so can get lost around while running for fishing boat and than transport ship can easily come. Of corse this is in case you play against AI and if you don't have time to spend controlling the sea by yourself...

Best water myth unit will be nereid Scylla growing three heads is a special case which will also decrease it's health nereid can beat any water myth unit in it's own
