モモコの事も心配ですが、ハオコ見てると涙が出て来ます。 本当に、モモコの事愛してるんですね。

シルバーバックのリーダーも影では奥さんに支えてもらっているんだね。 とても繊細なゴリラ達、ちゃんとご飯食べて元気でいてほしい。

ゴリラの優しさを目の当たりにして、泣きながら動画を観ていました。シャバーニパパも、アニーちゃんと同居する前にアイちゃんが群れから離れたらネネママに八つ当たりしている動画を観ました。昨年は、モモタロウパパが病気になったら兄弟も食欲不振になってしまいましたね。こんなに、思いやりの有る動物は他にはいないでしょうね。

子どもが生まれるたびにはしゃぎまわって喜ぶ子煩悩なハオコさん。今回も嬉しくて心踊っていたのに…心配だよね、不安だよね…。モモコさんも元気になってまた赤ちゃんを抱っこして戻ってくるから、元気でまっていてねとハオコさんに伝えたいです。

トトが居なくなって混乱し怪我をしたゴロンがその後亡くなっていますよね。ハオコが心配でしたがモモコが群れに戻れたようで少し安心しました。隔離が長引いたらハオコが今度は倒れるんじゃないかとやきもきしていました。今回のモモコの健康問題は、残念ですが上野動物園のパンダ優先でゴリラが後回しになってないかちょっと疑うきっかけになってしまいました。いつも考えさせられる動画ありがとうございます🙏

不安そうでしょんぼりしているハオコを見ると胸が痛みます。モモコが元気になりますように。赤ちゃんが無事に育ち、群れに加われますように。 動物園の状況についてよく知らないため、批判的なコメントは控えますが、繊細な心をもち、家族を思い合う優しいゴリラたちの健康と幸福を第一に考え、希少なゴリラの未来のために最大限の努力をしてくれるよう望みます。

今日、天気がちょっと不安定でしたが、思い切って上野動物園、約半年ぶりに行ってきました。　朝一でゴリラの森に向かったのですが、動画内でも仰ってる通り、ハオコさんが凄く不安そうな顔をしつつ、声をあげてドラミングする姿を何度も見受けられました。 ハオコさんがモモコさん&赤ちゃんゴリラの事を、心から愛しているからこその今回の事態・・・早くモモコさんの病気が治って、前向きな方向に進んでいってくれることを願うばかりです。ゴリラやオランウータンは、他の類人猿よりもはるかに繊細な生き物なんですから・・・。

中間部のテロップに泣きました。それほどまでに、シルバーバックって繊細なんですね… ハオコ、モモコと赤ちゃんも、どうかこの危機を乗り越えてくれるよう、心からお祈りしています。

Praying that Momoko and baby are getting better and will be back with their family be soon. Felt the same when Momotaro was sick and watched his kids suffering. These animals think and feel just like us.

ハオコが食欲もなくなりお腹がぺたんこになった写真を添付しタロンガ動物園にメールしました(コモモはタロンガ所属なので) 何かせねばハオコにも影響があると困りますしビジュの二の舞はダメです。モモコも病気でもナナの様に隔離され続けも良くなく(昨日、放飼場に出てきて群れの皆と一緒の時間があったそうですが)今までの上野を考えるとホントにbaby を群れに帰せるかも心配です。とにかくシルバーバックの存在をもっとリスペクトした飼育と群れの存在意義を考えてケアしないといけませんね😭

ハオコ、ずっと探してましたね、モモコを。私はみなさんがアップする動画を見るだけですが、あんなに歩き回るハオコってあんまり見たこと無いです。ハオコが心配ですが、子供たちは大丈夫でしょうか。テレビは「かっこいいイケメン、シャバーニ」とか話題にしがちですが、こういう姿も、解説を加えて、世に知らしめて欲しいです。なんか貧血って聞くと、潰瘍があったのかとか嫌な心配します。どこも女性がいての群れですもんね。健康なのが「当たり前じゃ無い」って、改めて思いました。

ハオコの丸いお目目の横顔を見て泣いてしまいました🥺 早く穏やかな日々に戻れます様に🙏

モモコを隔離する必要があったにせよ、姿が見えるだけでも違うので群れは出入り自由でモモコと人工哺育になった赤ん坊の側で過ごせるように心ある動物園なら配慮するところだと思うんですが、上野は相変わらず展示が第一なんですね。出産前も誰から見ても体調が悪いモモコを連日長時間外に出していたそうですし、また、嫌がるハオコを無理やり第二展示場にだしてやっぱり不安定になって荒れたりと今飼育している職員はゴリラが嫌いなんだろうかと考えてしまいます。小さな事でもゴリラはストレスに弱く負の積み重ねが健康を害する事も「プロ(と自分たちで呼んでいるそうです)」なら分かっているはずなんですが…。

ヤマトとサクラの時みたいな二の舞にはならないでほしいです。

Gorillas have EXTREMELY strong family bonds, are social animals, and form relationships some lasting a lifetime. They share 98.6 percent of human DNA and experience most of the exact same emotions as we do. Haoko knows something's obviously amiss, I mean his wife separated from him-missing for 3 days, so yes he's chest beating and calling to her (8:19 deep hoot hoot sound - starts out low, but then progressively builds louder into a series of longer hooting vocalizations). This type of vocalization can be heard over a mile away 😱 and is used to make contact with the troop, or a single lone gorilla. Momoko probably can hear Haoko. 7:37 Even Riki calls out to mom 😪. Haoko was born...it is embedded in his DNA to protect. He paces because he can't see Momoko 0:53 but he can surely hear and smell her 3:45. Silverbacks usually stay very close to the wife with the newborn infant. Not being able to do so is stressful for him 6:10, 6:34. Yes, this is a very sad video. It's amazing how the silverback has the most important role in the troop and how they know their surroundings so well. The silverbacks primary mate is his main priority, then the family. In the wild, when a member dies (mainly the alpha male) they will gather around the corpse and groom him one last time to show their respect and grieve. Then they move on. Haoko misses Momoko very much, which is very understandable. Im glad they Toto there to soften the blow a little. Hang in there Haoko, it will be ok. She'll be back before you know it, with your baby girl. 💯💖🦍♥

Surely by now Ueno Zoo has allowed Haoko and the family to see Momoko and the baby. They must be concerned that this situation effects the whole family - just as when the family at Kyoto Zoo showed similar signs when Momotaro was ill and under medical care last August. Certainly, hope for a reuniting with the matriarch of the family soon!

The love they share is heartbreaking in this case. Hoako is such a lover, I hate to see his distress.

This is worrying! Haoko loved Momoko so much & some more they had just welcomed a new baby. This is not right, it could effect Haoko's health. You can see he is not eating well & keep on looking for Momoko & the baby 😭 Gorillas is very sensitive. Please tell them to at least let Haoko see them behind the seperation bar 🙏😢💔

Interesting video. If his primary wife was nearly 60 years old you probably wouldn't think he was emotionally the strongest male gorilla in Japan. He's just got lucky and has the only really strong capable still relatively healthy wife. Assessing how great he is by Pure Luck of the draw of how bad a scenario the Japanese Zoos put them in is kind of unfair the other two

Thank you for the video. Yes, Haoko is so sad. I wish we could hear them instead of music. He seems to be calling for Momoko. How is the baby? How is Momoko? Are Momoko and the baby able to see each other? Is the family able to see Momoko and the baby? Is Momoko able to nurse the baby yet? I am so worried about this close family and hope the separation does not do what it did to the Momotaro family. I hope the Zoo learned from prior mistakes with separation of family members. I have never seen Haoko so sad. I agree with you that Toto even is concerned as she usually does not get next to Haoko. It was almost as if she was going to kiss him to let him know it was going to be okay. Please provide all of us with more information at your earliest convenience so we can rest assured that the family is going to be together soon. We appreciate all that you do and want to thank you for keeping us apprised of the situation. This was heartbreaking to watch😭 ( music made it more emotional)... Momoko is a very lucky gal to have someone who loves her so very much. I wish I had married a man like Haoko. I wish Momoko a speedy recovery, she's strong mentally and physically and I know she'll get through this with no problems. Baby girl is eating well and getting stronger.

Magnificent filming of faces and emotions. Tragic. The music-along with Haoko’s misery-sent me to the depths of depression. And yet this must have been filmed earlier than noted, before Momoko was returned to the troop-though I’m wondering if I dreamed that vid, can’t find it now.

I watched a video that was just uploaded by Uenosan Gorilla and Momoko was with the family looking fine. This is confusing.

So they killed Yamato for what ? How long were they together ? They didn't have children ? WHAT ?

I'm new to watching this family. I only have seen videos of Haoko fighting or teasing Momoko. I thought he felt intimidated by her. It didn't seem like Haoko really loved anyone but Riki. I don't know. Are there any videos of his affection towards Momoko or any of his mates. I hope Momoko recovers soon and returns to the 👪 with her baby.
