We as a people are have a long way to go it call crab 🦀 in a barrel we don’t want to see other people other get to the top sometimes we have a really have a bad mindset you have to find the right building blocks that fits your company keep yourself head up and keep pushing just know you inspire me to do the same thing don’t have my CDL yea but am start with a box truck first and work on my CDL in the mean time

It's a sad situation. The black race will always be behind and stagnant because of our mentality. We don't believe in our own people. Hey bro, dont hold no grudge, just gwaan do what you doing. Take your time and grow your thing. Good help is hard to come by. As a nation, we, people of "colour" will always be like what we call "crab in a barrel ". Like you said, mind set need to clean up first. We need that cohesiveness, we dont have that like other ethnic groups and it sad. We "black people " have the get rich quick mentality and fail to realise it doesn't work like that. Yes Troy! Keep up the positive vibes. Let them know. It's not easy but we making it happen. I am a Canadian born to Jamaican parents. I've worked for our people twice. Got burnt once and the second time was very good. But I realized our people have too much jealousy. I tell them all the time look at the Brampton people, they work together and now basically run the trucking game. We all need to get together and have our own meetings about businesses in respective areas and grow our people everywhere. We can do it just got to take jealousy out of it.

I have learn to respect brampton driver im not a brown guy but i work for one 2 years before i became a owner operator and one day my truck broke down so i was out of work they got together and raise 8000 for me to get my truck fixed i will never forget it i know my people would never help me

I'd recommend trying to relocate to Ontario because there's a population around 15 million here. Theres tons of work especially loads for Owner Operators and those who have their own Authority.

What I think you are saying is that you have your truck leased to Landstar and other trucks under your own authority in NS? I agree, if that’s the case those are two different and distinct businesses. If you had your Landstar truck under a numbered company and the others under your company that holds authority it would remove the conflict of interest.

This is your own screw-up. You tried to grab too many IFTA's. You over-complicate the process and it looked like you was double-dipping the game. Its all very simple. Start with 1 truck, get your own plates (thru your own MC, NOT LANDSTAR) ...then once you **UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS*** and have filed a few quarters, then start adding new trucks (and order the additional tags). Im african and I did everything myself ...no complications. You tryna grow too fast...5 IFTA's ...why????

If u wanna play the (white man) game, u gotta know the rules first. 1MC gets 1 ifta account. That 1-IFTA account can get multiple ifta stickers, but you must be in operation to get multiple stickers. People sell (&steal) these stickers esp in TX. U come one day to your truck and ifta sticker is gone 😳
