Jesus Christ, the "Last Adam," came to bring a final and lasting END to the first Adam. He is "the end" of the law for righteousness. Jesus is our vicarious SUBSTITUTE.
He died and was delivered up "for us".

The Overcomer entered the Most Holy Place as a Forerunner "for us"
He obtained eternal redemption "for us"
Jesus consecrated "for us" a new and living (freshly slain) way (Heb. 10:20).
