Here is Australia they introduced Sunday trading in 2007ish , it seems like the world has speed up and family time has disappeared, divorce has increased, the general health- mental, physical and spiritual has reduced, drug taking seems to have ramped up out of control. high percentage under the age of 45 have tattoo’s.

"it's not sinful to go to the zoo, to do some kind of recreational sports on Sunday" But if you go to places that are staffed, you are expecting other people to do the "servile" work to make your visit to recreational places (zoos, movie theaters, sports arenas, concert halls, restaurants, whatever), on Sunday possible. Does that really fit with the idea of keeping a day of rest?

The 1983 code of canon law specifically recognizes that some may have to work for the purpose of traditional activities or recreation. This is lawful.

Having a degree in physics, and having worked in a lot of manual and desk jobs, the severe burnout I got came from study and desk work. So much for rest. The new Catechism and the 1983 Code of Canon Law did away with the term 'servile' (in the Baltimore catechism) because it realized that work of an intellectual nature can be just as tiring. Just look up the thousands who have died from "Karoshi" [exhaustion] in Japan alone.

Where does "only unnecessary servile work" come from? Is Sunday not a day of rest for the intellectual worker as well?

The seventh day Sabbath, that was blessed and sanctified by God in the book of Genesis (Genesis 2: 1-3), is the same Sabbath day that is blessed and sanctified by God today. God did not change the 7th day Sabbath to the 1st day of the week or Sunday. Read Luke 4:16-18. The order of the days (1-7), back in Jesus' day are the same today. Read Mark 16:1-14, Luke 24:1-8, and John 20:1-10 for starters. The order of the days are mentioned as such in the Bible: The Sabbath (7th day), was past, and very early in the morning the (first day of the week), Jesus rose. Today, we have Saturday (last day of the week), and Sunday the first day of the week. Nothing changed. After Jesus' death His faithful followers (disciples), continued to keep the 7th day Sabbath. For starters, read Acts 13:13-14, Acts 16:13, Act 18:4 etc. God did not authorize any man or any institution to change his Holy Law and He never will. Another point, God wrote all 10 Commandments in stone with His own finger.

Yes it is but God never changed the Sabbath to Sunday. The Catholic church changed the 7th day to Sunday in the 400's. If it was charged then Jesus would have told His disciples and His disciples would have kept Sunday but they didn't.

Sabbath was never changed by Jesus to Sunday, because the disciples rested on Sabbath while Jesus was resting in the grave on Sabbath Saturday. When Jesus rose He never told His disciples to rest now on Sunday. Mary and the other woman when on Sunday to do the work of balming the body of Jesus which they could not do on Sabbath, but Jesus was not there anymore. The Catholic church changed the Sabbath, Saturday to Sunday, more than 400 years AD. So Saturday Sabbath was still kept. So it is a Catholic tradition and not be enforced on none Catholics

Wrong, Saint Paul relates how he and the early Christians were worshipping on "The Lord's day," which is the day of the Resurrection: Sunday.

The Bible still teaches that the Sabbath or Saturday should be kept holy. There is no authority in the New Testament for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday. Surely it is an important matter. It stands there in the Bible as one of the Ten Commandments of God. There is no authority in the Bible for abrogating this Commandment, or for transferring its observance to another day of the week. For Catholics it is not the slightest difficulty. "All power is given Me in heaven and on earth; as the Father sent Me so I also send you," said our Divine Lord in giving His tremendous commission to His Apostles. "He that heareth you heareth Me." We have in the authoritative voice of the Church the voice of Christ Himself. The Church is above the Bible; and this transference of Sabbath observance from Saturday to Sunday is proof positive of that fact. Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God. As the Rev. Mr. Smith rightly points out: "The Jewish Sabbath is not Sunday, the Lord's Day. Christians are all wrong in speaking of the Sabbath as Sunday."

The war between God and satan has always been about worship. satan wanted to be worshipped like God. Ask the God Give you the Eyes to see and the ears the hear :) that's what I did when he brought me to the truth. His word has all the answers. I read the Bible and asked no man just God to show me. And day after day he reviled himself and answered every question I have ever had. He loves all of us so much And wants none to be lost! He wrote the commandments with his own hand! If he were ever to change the sabbath it would not be subtle. He never says to change to sunday! As a matter of fact he rested on the sabbath then raised up sunday. JESUS SAYS " IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANMENTS " why would he change the one commandment that says Remember in front of it ??? It like he knew man would change it. I know that most of you won't believe this but please let it be a seed that is planted. A SUNDAY LAW IS COMING! GOD does not force people to worship him. He is a gentleman he wanted us to know and love him on our own. The 3 angle message is soon to come. "FEAR GOD AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM. THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGEMENT IS COME. WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE THE HEAVENS AND EARTH AND SEA'S AND FOUNTAINS OF WATER." I love every last one person that reads this and hope that the Holy spirit fills each and every one of you!!!

This is deceptions to make people believe that Sunday is now the Sabbath. God never gave the command to keep Sunday holy. We must let others know that this is a Catholic tradition

Wrong, Saint Paul says specifically that he and other Christians we worshipping on "The Lords day" which is the day of the resurrection, hence Sunday.

Who cares if Sabbath is Saturday or Sunday? Just keep on of them holy. Stop arguing for nothing

The Most High Creator YHWH God cares... It's actually written down in His Commandments ( Exodus 20 : 8 - 11 .. Exod 31 : 13 - 17 .. Lev. 23 : 3 ), and is one of His set-apart, appointed "times", that the 4th "Beast" (of Daniel 7 : 25) "thought" to "change".
