Should watch Bens video about it, goes thru exactly how Mavs changed tactic after game 2 to neutralize them. Also, the field goal attempts. Last game Mavs met GSW Curry was unable to get off a single shot in the 4th quarter. It might be something there... Edit: Link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9GFaZByssm5ZoE.html

I hardly disagree with you. I been watching the Suns all season. I been watching the Mavs. There team changed. They have 4 three point shirts on there team 2 to 3 are always out on the court, 3 shooter/slasher. The sun's reply on Paul way too much. They win games in season by switching line ups mix matching players. On paper Suns are better than the bucks. But they lost because Greek freak is better. Also the Suns have 2 shot creator, and there offense is not suited to beat the Mavs. From what I see everyone under estimates the Mavs. Golden State is old and gimpy. Wiggins and Poole will have to go most the lifting. Because I think the are going to attack curry. Plus Gary Payton Jr is out. Who's guarding Bronson and dinwitty?

@O That GSW game was equally pathetic, but I do have a lot more hope and trust in the Warriors to have an overwhelmingly higher amount of integrity and level of urgency (based on playoff pedigree) to not let a game get THAT out of hand in a Must Win / Do or Die Game 7. I legit never thought of Phoenix this way, despite my strong dislike for their antics, but prior to Game 6 I didn't think they were frontrunners. Now they're officially joining that category with the Utah Jazz until they can prove otherwise, that when shit gets real tough on the biggest stage they don't roll over and die multiple games in a row, in the playoffs. Luka and Dinwiddie came out on fucking fire, uppercutted them with a sledgehammer to start Game 7, and they just folded like a lawn chair, let themselves get tied to an anvil before being dumped into the ocean. Like that's beyond fucking unacceptable even from someone who had Mavs taking it in 7. No way in hell did I think Luka would have just as many points at the half as the entire Sun's team.

@@SuperNuclearUnicorn Man it wouldn't even matter ring or no if CP3 just showed up and played. I don't see how him getting a ring next year or whatever magically fixes that. This is not the first time he's basically just given up during a series. When it comes to rings though it makes no sense. If a guy plays well he plays well, it is helping his team to win. And if he does things like sacrifice his game for teammates, or do other things to help them, yeah that also helps his team to win. But just looking at the win loss column to judge a player is dumb. He is only reasonably accountable for what he himself does, in terms of legacy. And "chips chips chips" isn't any real way to look at winning. If we really went to the logical conclusions if insane fans pretty much thinking the only team/players that deserve credit for their accomplishment are the team with the chip, then that means basically you have to say there was only one good team in the league that year. Which looks even stranger when you consider "okay if that team is good then how are they good, all the teams they beat were bad teams who lost a playoff series". CP3 has had tons of playoff success and won a lot. A ring doesn't enhance his legacy objectively, it's just eye candy for fans. What tarnishes his legacy and won't go away even with a ring, is him doing shit most years like not even shooting the ball more than seven times in crucial games.

If overall the last 10 years of basketball has taught us anything, it's that regular seasons mean significantly less than they ever have. I've been on not taking dominant regular season teams completely seriously unless they're like the 2017 Warriors and have a clearly better roster than everyone else. You can increase your regular season stats and record by playing alot of teams who don't care or don't have their crap fully together yet. Not that the Suns and some past failing #1 seeds weren't good, but when they give stats like 80% or more of teams with 64 regular season plus regular season wins or have a certain point differential or season net rating etc win a championship, that applies to the old NBA not the load management era. Wish they could shorten the season.

I think that goes both ways tho, see a team like the nets this year. People kept thinking they were contenders even though their regular season performance indicated otherwise. As a suns fan. I really don’t know what to say. I knew signing that CP3 contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars was gonna bite us in the ass. Can’t be playing like shit when you are the most paid player on the team. Can’t be talking that shit if you can’t even back it up. Truly embarrassing to be a suns fan. CP3 better ball the fuck out next year. Or I think it’s time we boot the man. Everybody has gotta step up next year. I was against people saying they gotta be humbled, well after this loss I fully agree. Can’t be talking like MJ if you can’t play like MJ

When CP3 came to the Suns, i immediately stopped liking them because I knew he would ruin the franchise. They had the perfect team set up full of young talent. People forget they got shafted out of the playoffs 2 years ago because of the pandemic when they were the only team that went undefeated in the play in games. Last year casual fans gave CP3 all the credit for their run, when it was always Booker, Ayton, and Bridges being the heart and soul of that team.

CP failed to disclose that he has a dangerous and contagious locker room disease that causes major shrinkage at inopportune times that not even the hot Phoenix weather can mitigate, and unfortunately it appears it has spread to other teammates. That signing is gonna be even more costly going forward as the Suns try to rehab the damage caused to the afflicted players over the next several years. Amputation may be required.

Suns/Paul coasted at the end of the regular season & had a week off before the playoffs while the young New Orleans Pelicans played elimination games for 2 weeks. In the Suns 4-2 series win none of the games were blowouts & it took a supremely perfect effort from Paul to advance. Herb Jones & Jose Alvarado both pushed Paul's old body to its limits & he had little left for the Mavs.

Now you know how it felt to be a rockets fan back in 2017 when CP3 and Harden lost game 7 to the Warriors after missing 27 3s in a row. I could be really wrong about this too, so feel free to come back in a year's time and shit on me. But I think the window is closed for the Suns. They had 2 really good chances, last year and this year. To me, they're officially frontrunners and they have shown that they can't handle the pressure when things just don't go their way, especially the 2 stars. Mentally they're nowhere near tough enough to endure the ruggedness of the playoffs. CP3's not getting any bit younger, and let's not get it twisted thinking that every player is Lebron James who can still play like they're in their prime for even half the game(s). This Phoenix team folds when they don't have an all-time elite playmaker to facilitate. All this that I just wrote is on the Sun's end and should be somewhat within their control, besides CP3's age and playability. But the other half of it is just gonna be quite short and simple. Assuming everyone is coming back reasonably healthy, the Clippers are about to be full strength with Kawhi entering the mix. Same with Jamal Murray and possibly even MPJ for the Nuggets. I didn't have a dog in any of the races this year because of how absolutely stacked both East and Western Conferences were with so many damn teams potentially having a crack at a title run, so I don't know what the Suns really saw in thinking they were a lock. I highly doubt next year is gonna get any easier or better. I believe it's gonna be a real toss up. The Suns have to figure out and look far ahead to how the team will function without an all-time great PG in CP3.

I'm a huge Luka fan and them winning in six. But after game two, I wasn't confident. The fact they made it to game 7 was spectacular in itself...but blowing out the Suns is crazy AF

I wasn't watching basketball when it happened so I'm not sure what the circumstances were but I would say the #1 seed Dallas losing to the we believe warriors is still worse
