Charles Martinet is finally a Mario ambassador, after playing him for over 40 years, shoutout to the late Captain Lou Albano as well for voicing the plucky plumber in the late 80's early 90's cartoon.

This movie was worth every penny it earned. I loved Super Mario growing up. The illustrations in the instruction manuals and on the packaging is what inspired to learn art. So I wanted this movie. What I did not assume is was going to be as a fantastic as it is yet here we are. A fantastic Super Mario Bros movie.

It's literally the best definition of any classic Mario game, they give you a villain, they give you an objective, you go and defeat it, the end, credits scene. No explanation, context or even an origin story is necessary.

Mario 1993 is still the best Mario movie of all time, in my opinion. Mario 2023 plays it too safe and brings nothing new to the franchise. Mario 1993 was pure soul.

My childhood right here. Glad I got to watch this in theaters. This movie was awesome. I’ve been a fan of Super Mario since I was a kid. Glad you girls reacted to this movie too

I never saw elemental but I agree with Mario being number one. Saw Spider-verse but it was ok. Never caught on to the hype.

@@whitewolf7005 right lol Well I’m not sure how old you are, but they’re all quite a bit younger than me. I was born in 87, so I grew up playing most of the Mario games. The only one I didn’t really play back then was Super Mario World for Super Nintendo.

I played a game called super Mario Bros from 1995 on pc when I was a kid oh what memories like this and the new version is not that bad at all well it’s very interesting the Mario kart tour. Good reaction and the movie 🍿 as well .

No, Viki you didn't play Mario on Sega. Sega is Sega. Mario is Nintendo. Completely different companies without any crossover apart from the Super Smash Bros games.

I tried to watch this movie, but my god, it's just terrible, terrible writing. None of the characters' motivations make sense. There was a miniseries here on KZfaq several years ago, a live action Mario thing that was amazing, but I think Nintendo DMCA'd it a few years ago. I bet it's available somewhere, though.
