Well the highest damage is the Moonlord's specialty, kinda like power vs skill, his(Gladiator) skills don't do alot of damage on their own and has to rely on combinations, which focuses more on ''Death of a thousand cuts'' sort of gameplay hence SKILL(Finding openings, creating openings, applying debuffs, evasions, speed, mobility, combinations) While a Moonlord, one single skill can do alot of damage hence POWER, that's why their skill tree are focused on damage. But who's to say each class can't have both, it's just specialization that's all. Another example is the Pokemon Urshifu, one version is Fighting/Dark type who relies on power or single blow attacks and the other Fighting/Water type focuses on skill and multihits.

@@Angrygreentea So you're saying... Gladiator relies on making quick and big combos therefore he must continously attacking, while Moonlord is more on burst that he only needs to do is landing direct hits on all of his active skill attacks

@@SSJCrusader Yeah, but with the Eclipse and Evasion Slash some of the skills make the Moonlord moderately versatile since both subclasses have access to eachother's skills(Gladiator's mobility and Evasion) the only different being melee and range, the Mercenary tree has that(Power) role now though with the nerfs I don't think they're opposites anymore, Mercs get bullied because of low super armor, but I know you already know that since we're both players. Gladiator/Moonlord skill Barbarian/Destroyer power

@@Angrygreentea Thats clever way to say it, although the devs are quite lazy or not caring much of proper balancing of skill damage, skill CD which either end up spammable then run away and spam them again and stuff lol... Old cap of DN used to take alot of skills to conserve your active skills and mana then use them incase if you need more damage or relaunch your enemies in the air and the rest you just use LMB and RMB to juggle them against the wall lol
