Yo Kai seems like such a cool guy. I've been learning guitar the past few weeks on a guitarlele so was sick to see him playing one too. I been skating about 20 years and have always resonated/enjoyed the surf style or downhill freestyle mentally so much more. Love him referring to skating as a visual art

Yeahhhh, I saw the bowl recently on Sky & Ocean's channel. i think Siargao is nice too, full of coconut trees. Travelling around PH - lots of transit. it's not as easy as Thailand but Siargao Island is a dream 🌴

skating here seems more about a true way of life and probably the purest form in some ways. Shame that there has to be monetization because everyone needs money to have a decent standard of living or what most would consider to be that and they deserve that fully whatever that means to them. That being said these dudes seem like the happiest the purest and realest skaters can be. In some ways when he is explaining what surf skating is to him this explains it all. It's not about being the best to him its about doing something he loves for the sake of it.
