It's always comforting to know we don't have to embrace any of the trends. But it's good to know what's on trend. It's how we stay modern fresh and relevant.

I'm not inclined to purchase most of these trends. I did buy a dark pink ( orchid ) sweater cardigan in the spring that I will wear with black and white outfits when temperatures drop. I will be wearing tan, taupe, brown, black pants mostly from Chicos, and jeans in white, beige and blue jean shades as the weather cools down. Will reach for blouses: bright green, blue jean, one white shirt, solid navy, blue plaid and a sage green plaid. I have a new 3/4 sleeve black and white vertically striped abstract print that should transition well once temperatures are lower. I bought 4 pair of different color driving loafers that will work well with my wardrobe. Always enjoy your videos. You are such an inspiration to keep looking fresh and stylish.

I'll have to skip a lot of trends, especially the odd colors. I have no interest in anything that is super neon or a bold red. I love fall colors and it's easy to make an outfit look nice with different accessories.

So excited to hear the color palette for Fall is beyond the conventional Autumn shades. As a “winter”, I often struggle with all the understated neutrals. Red looks great on me and makes me feel alive. So glad to hear it will be around and readily available!

I love red and wouldn't mind adding a red piece or two to my fall wardrobe. I already have a pair of red shoes I love. Oversized doesn't appeal to me much, but I make an exception for slouchy sweaters. And if neutrals are "in," I have to say I never knew they were out! Tone on tone appeals to me a lot, so I'll probably try to create a few more looks using that formula. Thanks for the video!

I love the idea of adding bolder colours. Oversized doesn't work for those of us who are vertically challenged. I look ridiculous in big sweaters. So I will stick with regular size clothing.

I am so glad you said bold color is in for this winter. The gray ,cold and short days of winter of living in America's North East City make me sad. I used to scour the stores for brightly colored winter gear to put over my classics and neutrals. Since I am a larger woman and an artist my go to was a wildly colorful scarf or sweater over black or tan pants with booties. I always got compliments with all that color around my face. As you can imagine I also love red. So I am glad the designers finally caught up with my trend. LOL.I make a lot of my own jewelry and will definitely be pulling out some of my bigger pendant and beads.

Navy and black yes! I’ve always had a red shoe but not recently. This may be one trend I’ll add. Your videos are fun and interesting, and part of your job is to keep people updated on fashion, but I’m done with trends. Simple basics carry me through years of trends. The most complimented clothing I have are things that I’ve had for a long time.

I am only 5'2", so, oversized doesn't work for me! Also, NO PANTS, SHEER PANELS & NIPPLE FREE certainly doesn't work for me at 59. I think red and monochromatic may be the only things for Fall 2023 that I can embrace to remain fresh and relevant! LOL! I so very much enjoy all of your content! Thank you for all you do!

I always appreciate your thoughtful approach to fashion and style for us more mature women. I agree with you about oversized knitwear. I feel that suits my style better than the super oversized blazers that I’ve been seeing. Red is always a welcome burst of color during the fall and winter. I love red with camel. Most of that is ridiculous and I guess why I don’t really follow trends. Classics or bust for me, which can be boring, I suppose, but better on the wallet in the long term as the pieces last decades. BUT, I absolutely love your always put together style. Always beautiful!

I'm late to the party here but Patrica Neal wrote that she and other young want to be actresses wore the latest bra with a triangle shape cut out so the nipples weren't covered. A trend in the 1940's apparently. I just read her autobiography and she said a man who had to measure the girls for costumes asked them to strip to their underwear, as was the custom, and she could tell he was pretty surprised. Trends, lol!

I love the off the shoulder trend! Is there a certain product you use for crepey upper arms? Or maybe you don’t have that issue. I’ve been using weights but it’s still there😫

There are body lotions that included peptides that help with hydrated, plump skin but I would check with your dermatologist as there might be a treatment like lasers that could help.

Your skin looks great! Also I love your red nail polish…would love name of color and brand please. I find the contrast interesting between your minimal makeup/boring matronly print blouse in this video, as opposed to your jazzed up fashionable looks modeled in the examples of fall trends. I suggest to stick with the latter!

I'll be 60 in November and I occasionally go braless in public. Of course the breast reduction and lift helps with this decision. If the look is good with or without, then it's my choice. 😊

I love the oversized silhouttes. I just like the realistic pieces you wear rather than the majority of those runway pieces - Who would ever wear those??? I have always worn navy and black as well as dark brown and black regardless of what anyone says. This is always classic and elegant. No pants? Sheer dresses? Seriously? Pretty soon everyone will just be walking around naked. That’s just not a comfort zone I’m stepping out of - not to mention, it’s REALLY COLD with no pants or sheer dresses. I’ll take the oversized cozy cashmere.

Classic woman would not wear the free the nips or see thru or the no pants styles. The Princess of Wales would never wear any of the fast fashion trends that are way out there.

The Princess of Wales did wear a see through fish net dress on catwalk in a fashion show at St. Andrews, when she caught the attention of Prince William! However, that was when she was a still a commoner 😊.

Fall is good and in sharp edgy clolors fire engine 🚒 red orange yellow greens burgandy leave soft pastes hopefully not peekaboo seethrough 😮😊in springs with new things 😊

I definetly not following that fall trend. I'll be interested to see if any one in my area follow it. Fall is my favorite time of year and I look forward to pulling out my fall clothes, greens, browns, tans. Because I'm over weight for my height (5'3') I definetly cannot wear bulky clothes. I don't like skin tight clothes either. Too restricting! What a dilemma! If I was tall and skinny like you, I'd probably try those new styles.

Hi Beth, I really love some of these trends, but the sheer outfits, no pants are a big NO, plus I don’t want to free my nipples. No one needs to see them. LOL. I’m not to big into the oversized outfits, I don’t mind a little oversized but some of them are just plain ridiculous.. Thank you for another great video.🌷🌷
