Why did this happen? It's simple, when you are a non-profit in the US, you include your financial information on your annual form 990 filing. The form is a couple of pages long. 2021 they were at 13 million in donations, 2022, 2 million, 2023 who knows - - - Someone didn't want 2023 numbers disclosed.

First of all like any business when you miss a payment you receive a notice that your behind on payment then after 60 to 90s you get a delinquency notice or something indicating that if you don't pay you account will go over to the creditors. I believe they have been getting letters for months until they finally received the delinquency notice. I don't know why these reporters are not addressing this part and looking deeper.
