Attacking the Meditation Garden doesn't disrupt it - instead each enemy unit withing its radius reduces it by 10%.

Great to see a fellow Olive Garden enjoyer! Just a side note, Byzantine houses have a upgrade tech in feudal called “Border Settlements” that turns their line of sight into essentially a watchtower and lowers the build time to 3 seconds for a single villager to build

Lesson learned, finish watching the video before you comment. Right at the 1:00:00 mark “Let’s get the house upgrade so we can get some vision.” 😂

Turin, what do you think about a "Bronze League Heroes" type of casting like Husky in the olden days of SC2? AoE4, Dune, WH3, doesn't matter, I just want to pretentiously laugh at other people playing poorly while fully aware that I'm even worse.
@fridericusrex62896 ай бұрын
Hey Turin just a mistake I saw you repeat - when enemy starting disrupting your north trade, you had all the map control to just send them to southern trade, enemy wouldnt disrupt there... its also decent to send few traders towards enemy raiders to die so that he thinks you dont have many of them while most of them were sent to the other side

A candidate for game of century. Great game Turin both of you played really well. This type of games push player to the limits. And i think this is the most effective elephant usage i've seen in the history of aoe4. Also you showed the true strenght of Byzantines, versatility. Nest of bees, Elephants, Keshiks etc. these are hard to react units.

I'm a big fan of the Palatine School in anything other than a FFA. Think of it as a permanent 30% cost reduction for spears/varangian/cataphracts -- Its great
@hilfazer6 ай бұрын
More like 23% cost reduction plus from 30 to 60% production speed (depending on cistern level).

MOAR LADDER like this! I think that guy probably wins a lot of games (Like @Turin) by simply refusing to ever give up. I am sure a lot of people would just quit when games get that grinding just thinking its not worth the sweat.

Awesome match. I love your live casts of whatever game you are playing. I hope you keep trying to make the Byzantines work even though they are a tougher civ.
@thescaarbo86526 ай бұрын
For future reference, and something that makes the ghulams top tier for the Byzantines, they can build siege weapons. So if you need a springald or a mango, they can do it for you. Highly overlooked factor about them at the moment.
@bortoo66346 ай бұрын
Didnt realize that! I already liked them very mutch as a tanky, gold free alternative frontline to go with my limitanei, but this makes it even better

Hey @Turin - just curious why you didnt put your 2nd TC on the double berry bush and gold node southwest of your original TC? Seems like more resources to gather/protect - but then again i am not a conq player so maybe I am missing something?

Hey Turin, if you enjoy infantry with byz and expect lategame you should consider silk road mercenary contract. Together with the imp landmark the camels will give your infantry the abbasid bonus for amor. Good game!

I've never heard of you, never clicked on any of your videos or searched for you nor do we play the same games. However, I've given you probably 5,000 views from falling asleep with youtube on. Whatever deal you struck with the algorhythm gods seems to be very favorable for you. Seriously why does youtube have me wake up to you every single day? You've got a very nice voice and attitude i'm just a little curious why youtube funnels so many views to the channel. Is it like a paid for advertising?
@nicholasvargo92516 ай бұрын
Not that, but it's 1. the fact that he's very active with a lot of new videos (KZfaq prefers to recommend newer content) and 2. that when you're asleep you don't click off his videos, so KZfaq values that as higher engagement. I've gotten some weird videos myself that I'll wake up to in the middle of the night lol. That aside, if you like rts games, Turin is a gem that you should also watch while awake :)

First time watching AoE4, and - omg - the Greek dialogue from the Byzantines sucks big time! It's like _old_ google translates, such a shame; I hope that's not the case with the other languages.
