I'm very lucky, cause i've seen him live at Rotterdam Holland many years ago R.I.P.

i had interviewed him on my old radio show, it was a call in interview. I told him, that I will be djing at the show he was playing the next day. And that I will see him at the show. I actually had a gig later that evening, and I knew I was going to miss his performance. As I was leaving the venue, he was coming in, We chatted for a few minutes, he was really great to deal with.

Such an enormous void, he was so amazing! Blessed to have known, danced, chatted, hugged and witnessed rehearse with my Bredren next to Juicy's Jamaican. I forget how I knew he was there. I lived close. That was so irie, he had been reading about my work and loved that I had known Joe Higgs well. He left us way too soon, thank you for this video, the clips and narration are both well researched and inspiring!

Excellent tribute sah! For some reason I knew nothing of this remarkable history. I just loved his vocals and had slightly conflated him with Dennis Brown. He certainly looks like a character! From your details he didn’t succumb to the White Lady like Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs. Sadly when I saw Gregory at Manchester international late 80’s he had a towel over his linen jacket and was sweating profusely.😶‍🌫️
