After watching this movie, I was kind of frozen, not being able to watch another movie for a while. It's similar feeling when you've just finished a great meal. Your stomach is full, but you still want more. And you don't want the incredible taste of the food to fade from your taste buds. I felt I wanted more of this movie, maybe part 2. And I couldn't find another movie to top or equal it to watch next. This bitter sweet feeling happens after an exceptional movie or meal. Can't save the best for last, because I've just watched one of the best, and the list of such great films is short. Every fight scene is exciting, riveted me to the chair. The actions are so real it got me worried that they were going to hit each other! Not just the action, but also the acting, the facial expressions when fighting, especially Jang Hyuk. Kudos! Choreography is outstanding. I really appreciate the quality of this extraordinary action film. Simply Awesome!

"To me, that child is my nation", say more, SHE'S MY WORLD!
@Arrogan283 жыл бұрын
It means the same thing back then. 'Nation' meant everything, honor, life, legacy, everything, because it meant that thing you would die to protect. You lessen the meaning by saying 'world' in the context of the times they are indicating this would have taken place in Japan. When honor was tied to your tribe/nation, and so back then people were expected to sacrifice everything for that, and failing to do so meant your entire family lost it's honor, and a family without honor was outcast, worst then dead in the eyes of those living during those times. Hence why people would kill themselves rather than lose honor and damn their entire family line. So to say that she is my 'nation' means she is who I put all my honor behind, it is saying she is his everything. Context matters. If you take it as now, the way those words are taken in modern day context, then yea, world is better. But I think in the context of the setting of the film, 'nation' means even more then 'world' would...

Amazing to see Asian cinema upping great content and utilising great talent with respect. Meanwhile hollywood disrespects great superstar talents like Tony jaa and Donnie yen and more.

How come they dude that played in “ the man from know where “ isn’t in any more movies???I think he was an epic fighter and had a vibe about his style.

He is very selective and he is one of the most paid actors in Korea, repots says he mostly do it for fun
@djinkentertainment3 жыл бұрын
@@faithaction2505 well that makes sense. I guess when you’re that good you can be selective and doing it fun is the best part I’m sure. I used to have a dj business, and when it wasn’t fun any more it changed.

Won Bin.. He got married and is living a peaceful, quiet life. He mostly does commercials (for Coffee) and other advertisements, here and there.. We are hoping he comes back to the big scenes.

He turned down an acting role this year for a drama called Bulgasal. I don't think he'll ever return to the big screen when he's already making bank from commercials.

There are only what like 30 stories. Any film you see will just be a rehash of one of those.
