Dengue fever is a severe, flu-like illness that affects infants, young children and adults, but seldom causes death.
Dengue should be suspected when a high fever (40°C/ 104°F) is accompanied by two of the following symptoms: severe headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pains, nausea, vomiting, swollen glands or rash. Symptoms usually last for 2-7 days, after an incubation period of 4-10 days after the bite from an infected mosquito.
Severe dengue is a potentially deadly complication due to plasma leaking, fluid accumulation, respiratory distress, severe bleeding, or organ impairment. Warning signs occur 3-7 days after the first symptoms in conjunction with a decrease in temperature (below 38°C/ 100°F) and include: severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, rapid breathing, bleeding gums, fatigue, restlessness, blood in vomit. The next 24-48 hours of the critical stage can be lethal; proper medical care is needed to avoid complications and risk of death.

Papaya leaf juice is most efficient and natural method to reduce dengue. In India, it is the first thing people after seeing the symptoms do before consulting a doctor.

@@momandfofitv5977 take papaya leaf of about 2 -4 .. and put it in water under boiling, once the level if water gets half, sieve the solution and drink it.. :))

I'm an expat UK in Thailand, I just contracted Dengue, after research I found that the leaves of papaya (which luckily grow in my garden) can help. I boiled the 5 large leaves after chopping them in 2 litres of water, then simmered and reduced to about 1 litre, strained cooled off the green liquid added sugar (for taste) in TWO hours all my main symptoms had gone, fatigue, eye ball pain, sickfeeling / lethargy. I am shocked, when I did further research it seem in a NIH study in Pakistan they analysed the blood (WBC/RBC) of a serious Dengue sufferer and noted sharp increases in cell count after giving the papaya. It's now going to be my main defence against Dengue and Malaria. I had COVID 19 in January (including severe loss of taste and smell) and these initial Dengue symptoms were similar. Locally there is a Dengue outbreak (Hua Hin/Prachuap Kiri Khan) and one child died. May 16th was National Dengue Day in India. I am going to try several different preparations of the leaf (some not using boiling) and I am going to eat the fruit and inform the local council. 400 million infections worldwide annually (apparently). Many deaths.

Papaya leaves juice, Coconut water, Goat milk, Plato Plan Syrup, Kiwi and Dragon fruits are the best choice of foods in Dengue fever for increasing platelets count naturally.

After body joint pain comes fever & chill, and whole body was tiklish very hard. Take a cold water shower n use fan or aircon to dry up few times. It helped me instead of any cream.
