They didn’t see his trap coming, so in a way he was mentally stealthy. Senior Ad Mech members, tech marines, marine librarians, and most sanctioned psykers would probably all prove resistant for differing reasons involving their doctrines. Ad Mech seniors and tech marine veterans (maybe even large swathes of the Iron Hands too) barely think like organic beings, their thought patterns would be hard to decipher I would imagine. Librarians and sanctioned psykers would be various levels of just booting them out, to straight up driving mad or killing the interlopers depending on the power and experience of a given individual. Its pretty humbling when you realize the seemingly indirect combat support role played by astropaths would make them utterly lethal if you invaded their minds. They could break most people by just showing them the vast reality they have witnessed between and beyond the stars.
