Imagine kicking a child off their school bus in the middle of a series of random shootings just for eating candy. The bus driver and local government should've been held responsible for both that and the abhorrent decision to keep schools open during this time.
@kkwun4969

bus drivers and teachers cream over the power they had over us. with one bus driver we would get written up for not following directions if we did our homework on the bus, if she even suspected our lips were moving because we would clinch our teeth when we expected a bump to throw us in the air she would yell at us for trying to sneak words out. the school i went to would hold kids back as many times as possible to milk the most amount of money per student (they get payed from the government by student) and so they would not teach in class if one kid laughs at anothers joke. the amount of coffee they drank was simply unhealthy and had similar effects of meth and to this day i only drink coffee when it is absolutely needed and i never EVER drink more coffee than a teaspoon can hold in fear of becoming like them.

I found the whole thing really dumb, like why did they assume he wouldn't target children. He is a serial KILLER! I doubt he has the moral compass not to do so.

@@keshi5541 Serial killers MOs usually only include a specific type of person, so if the killer isn't targeting children it isn't unreasonable to think they won't... in most cases. These two were killing at random, with nothing linking the victims, which should've made people realise that kids were not safe just because they hadn't been attacked yet, it's a baffling decision
@keshi5541
@keshi5541 2 жыл бұрын
@@ClikcerProductions Exactly my point, from their attempts of linking the victims everything was at random like race, gender and even age. If a psychopath was killing people at random, I don't think the smartest idea would be to open up schools (Its also kind of making a test like whether the person would stoop so low). Also serial killers actually do kill children (there are many stories of this happening(. I can mention heaps that have done so. They aren't angels bro. Overall a dumb decision.

I can't believe it was over 20 years ago this happened. I am 34 now. I was in Maryland and in the area during all this when it went down. It was really weird the psychological toll it takes on you. No one wants to go outside, get gas, go to the store, wait at a bus stop, walk out of a building, wait in the car, or anything. It was so randomized which is what got everyone. You may think, "It could never happen to me" but then out of nowhere, he shot you in the most random of places and you had no idea where it came from. Crazy how it seemed recent.

I know this is a year old, but still wanted to correct something; The Bushmaster used for these murders is chambered in .223 which is not a "high caliber" by any means. It's a basic rifle round, nowhere close to a "sniper" round. For comparison, the .223 holds ~55 grains whereas an actual sniper round like the 7.62 is ~175 grains, more than 3x as powerful.

@@brad144k Relax. Life is difficult with Government intervention because of Covid 19 but is not as bad as you may think. It is the usual story of political blame gaming that cause a lot of the problems. The issue with the lockdowns we had were caused by people who are basically 'professional demonstrators'. They were the big news items which made it worse than the general behaviour of most people who followed the rules. Many businesses were in dire straights due to the lockdowns where people weren't able to go to work unless you had an exemption which were issued to essential workers. Unless you were rich and probably a donor to a political party, you couldn't get an exemption other than work but no travel. Rich and famous could which caused a lot of anger with people who couldn't travel interstate to see family or be with loved ones who were sick and dying. We have six States and two Territories making up the country and because different parties were governing that State or Territory, they all made their own rules as to closing their borders for travel. This actually worked and now with most opened up again, there are many cases and I mean many of Covid being reported and death numbers are increasing. We have to wear a mask when shopping also check in with a QR code. A number of people who pass are ones that haven't been vaccinated or sadly, are elderly. We have similar problems as America where you have people who refuse to be vaccinated because they either don't trust the Government (who can blame them) or just on the "I wont be told what to do". Help this helps to answer your query. Stay healthy and stay safe.

When I was in college in Santa Barbara, California, my friends and I met a kid whose last name was Muhammed, and he said he was from Maryland. He wound up hanging around and basically living on our couch for a couple months. One night a couple of my friends and this kid were hanging out, doing silly hijinks and someone called the cops on them. When the cops ran this kid’s ID, it turned out he was a 17 year old runaway. None of us suspected this, but we did figure out that a lot of what he’d been telling us had been half-truths and some was just flat out lies. Because he was basically a missing person, he was sent home to Maryland (turns out that was one of the few things he’d been honest about). About a month later, the news started talking about the “DC Sniper”. One of my friends joked that maybe it was that kid shooting people because he was mad he got sent back. After they caught the guy, whose last name was Muhammad, and they found out he’d had a teenage accomplice, we seriously were wondering if that joke was prescient… Eventually, the whole story came out and we were relieved it wasn’t the kid we’d been harboring. A few months later that kid came back (this time with his parents’ OK), and after a few more months he’d gotten himself into trouble for various criminal acts (not murder though) and had to move back home to Maryland. This is why I will always remember this particular terrible moment in history 😟

The police would not let traffic move. Didnt know what was going on because at the time I only listen to CD's, no radio at all. My mom called me and told me what was going on and of course ask where I was. I told her and she was pissed. She was yelling at me like I was the sniper. I will never forget the evening. 8:35 “In the hands of anyone the weapon can be lethal” I think that goes for any gunpowder propelled projectile.

I was living in Maryland during that time and used to travel to Virginia through DC quite frequently. I remember the horror this incident had on every resident.

14:40 the media should be held responsible for when they do shit like that. It directly fucks with an investigation

Two hundred and twenty three caliber bullet? A weapon that could be lethal in the hands of someone with no training? Isn't that like ANY weapon? Let alone ANY gun? I mean I can appreciate the level of detail in some of this coverage, but I feel like more effort needed to be spent on researching some of these weapon details. At least in effort not to sound foolish when describing the round used to murder innocent people.

I think it was the accuracy of the gun and the speed and lethality of the round that would have made it easy for someone with little training. Not all guns are the same.

This made me pause and stop watching. He on multiple occasions sounds like he has no idea how these weapons work or what they are and makes them sound way crazier than they are. 1 .223 isnt a high caliber round. It's actually pretty small. I'll look elsewhere for this type of content. Someone who has a clue and cares enough to get it right.

@Bilbo_Swagginz I have been around firearms my entire life and shot multiple different guns. I am not ignorant. All I said was that that particular bullet was probably fast and lethal enough to be a first choice for anyone wanting to do something like that. You wouldn't use a .22 round to snipe someone man. Just look up a video or do some research and you won't look like an idiot next time you comment.

@@Blaketarded Thats funny as shit considering .223 is a .22 caliber round……

@@trippie_fabio3181 Yeah on a technicality. Look up a .22 round and then look up a .223 round. The only similarity is the diameter of the bullet.

Imagine if Malvo didn't leave any fingerprints.. The possibilities could go head-to-head with the tragedy of 9/11 when it comes to fear and traumatization with possibly hundreds of kills within 2 years.

I’ve lived in Virginia all my life and some of the shootings happened here. One of the shootings happened at a restaurant that I used to go to a lot with my dad and I even remember going there not long after that shooting. For a while, the police were looking for a white van bc that’s what they were suspecting the killers could be driving and my mom drove a white van and one night after getting out of a Boy Scouts meeting or something like that from my elementary school, we got pulled over by police bc they just wanted to ensure we weren’t armed with a sniper rifle shooting people at random lol it was so surreal.
