In this video we visited Wat Arun, also known as the 'Temple of Dawn' which is one of the most famous temples in Bangkok located on the Chao Phraya river.
The temple is open from 8am - 6pm & entry costs 100 THB per person. There are various ways you can get to Wat Arun but we decided to take the MRT & walk 900 metres (10 minutes) from MRT station Itsaraphap.
Wat Arun, meaning "Temple of the Dawn," is named after the god Aruna, God of Dawn. We'd recommend visiting late in the afternoon so you can see the temple lit up at night & watch the sun go down from the other side of the Chao Phraya river.
