I like your Bob Dylan cap. Bob Dylan is incredible, i remember his music back in the 1960s / 70s / 80s and onwards. His contribution to popular music has been immense.

I love these 10 most listened to posts especially when my taste and the poster's taste seem to be in sync. Yours is both a real match and an eye opener as you are way ahead of me on the country music bandwagon but I'm rapidly sinking my teeth into it too. I'm a huge Lucinda, Bob and Nick Lowe fan and your selections from those artists are spot on. I'm certainly gonna check out the stuff you mention that I am not familiar with since I have so much faith in you based on what you chose that I am familiar with.

Hey! Always good to discover a fellow VCer who digs and shows country music. I'll have to head back and check out your earlier videos. You're not going to get any arguments with me about Marty Robbins. I love the two Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs volumes. They are fantastic. I like Robbins best when he goes all Western, I even like his 70s albums El Paso City and Adios Amigo despite some of the production. I've got that Zephaniah Ohora album, but I think I prefer his first album...Which I don't have on vinyl. I've been trying to buy more modern country music recently, as I was starting to feel a bit guilty only listening to older stuff. There are some great newer artists out there with a traditional feel to their music; Daniel Romano, Brennan Leigh, Melissa Carper and Charley Crockett are all artists I've enjoyed recently. You can't go wrong with Lucinda Williams. Cheers - Hedley
