Remigio Pereira seems like a thoughtful man, dedicated to a deeply honorable pursuit of love, understanding and unity. That he extends a narrow but positive message to include everyone needs no apology, knowing as we do that imitation is the best form of flattery. That Mr Periera also holds that we should question that which is closest to us, namely the shape of the earth, and to do our own research indicates strongly that he trusts everyone in their individual pursuit of knowledge, a pursuit which also needs no apology. History will of course decide whether it is smart to stand up for someone who demonstrates courage in so loudly proclaiming the value of love and knowledge.

Can you imagine what would have happened if Remi pulled his "All Lives Matter" stunt while they sang the American anthem at an NFL game in 2016, when players, coaches and owners were kneeling in solidarity with BLM? I'm sure Clifton, Fraser and Victor (and their wives) thought about that a lot after the MLB incident in 2016. The guy was a liability. No talent is worth risking your life for, let alone your career.
