This is the worst DreamWorks movie. It is bad. It is boring, bland, cliche and weird. Did anyone watch this in the cinemas? Do you remember how this film goes? It's the early days of Ryan Reynolds. ...Yep. That was about as bad as I expected. Though I was surprised about the small little moments I actually have praise for! It doesn't save the movie or anything, but it was a wild ride from start to finish.

I honestly love Turbo. Another nostalgic movie my parents made me watched in the living room to keep us from going crazy. I found it super entertaining, and 100x better than the bee movie. Yeah, sure, I feel like if I hadn’t been forced to watch this, I probably never would’ve, but it’s very fun and I love it for that.

Fun fact: Snails have an open circulatory system, meaning blood flows freely around body cells. So this shot, 7:14 - 7:19 is impossible. Also, 2:45 Chet is Turbo's brother, not friend.

Isn't it clear that Dazz just doesn't care about the relationships between the characters in this movie. It's the equivalent of giving a really boring main character some sort of nickname when reviewing the movie they star in.

Say what you want about the movie, but the Netflix series, _Turbo F.A.S.T.,_ is a real guilty pleasure of mine that I still revisit every now and then. Edit: Also, you forgot that *Turbo does get his powers back because his shell healed.*

I think I actually figured out why The Boss Baby isn’t that good of a movie: like most DreamWorks movies, it’s based off a book, but the book is a book for little kids(as in it’s one of those books you can finish reading in about a minute). And there’s a major difference between the book and the movie. In the movie, Boss Baby is actually a boss, but in the book, he only acts like one.

This reminded me of how some kids in my class for their final project in chemistry tested if you could indeed make a snail fast: it did not. They didnt die from it one of the classmates did accidentally kill one of the snails unrelated from the experiment

i wasn't even ten when i saw this movie in theatres convinced by my father who told me this was the next way of doing Cars movies. I didn't except much, just kid's things like the snail called McQueen or Doc in form of human. as soon as the movie started and i read "Dreamworks" i just knew this was not going to be Cars. And that's how it went. Really cool animations and literally nothing emotion at all. I completely forgot about it in two weeks

This whole notion that Turbo is “terrible” is pretty new to me, I’ve never seen people talk bad about it until recently and honestly the movie isn’t even bad. It’s actually pretty cute to me and does it’s job imo. I just don’t think they put as much passion into it like other movies like HTTYD, Shrek, and others. Which just makes it feel forgettable sadly.

I'm speechless... I loved the movie back in 2013, it was one of the best animated movies my parents would let me watch. I watched it a couple weeks ago with my toddler, and yeah I did see a bunch of flaws but I loved it and the toddler loved it. Also the casting of so many of my favorite actors, just count how many actors from marvel there are in that movie. Also the kid who was like Sid in toy story was the coolest side villain who got put in his preschooler place, and yes I said side villain and I will continue to think of him that way.

Seeing this as a kid I just loved it because it had fast stuff and race cars, but watching it again recently I now see there's a lot more of it too, it shows that anyone can follow their dreams no matter how big it is or how small they are as long as you put your mind to it, thus Underrated and one of my most favorite DreamWorks franchises

Honestly, if the movie maker was intending to capture typical "Car Guy" interactions, this sadly is accurate. Most Car Guys only respect speed these days. That's why at 9:30 the MC looked down on the other people who in theory "Have his same interest" I have never been in a more self-destructive, more "I'm unique, but wait, you like what I like? no you don't. You're not as cool as me" kind of community than Cars.

As a car enthusiast, I thought Turbo was pretty good. To be fair, though, I DID have a problem with: 1. 6:53 There wouldn't be that much empty space in a car engine. 2. When Turbo is injured in the Indy 500, he's somehow WAY faster than when he was totally fine.

My point exactly. I feel as if everyone's over analyzing these kid movies and just picking then part from part just to attempt to bring it down for some unorthidoxed . And while im all about having your own opinions, to call a movie TERRIBLE is just uncalled for and excessive. I just feel as if movies can be great on their own without comparing then to other completely different movies. It's a movie about a snail drinking nitrous and racing cars for hells sake.

In the days before my parents would let me go to the cinema by myself, my mum would come with me to watch every new animated film that would be released. Turbo was the one time that my dad came with me instead because it was about racing.

6:53 never noticed this before, but he's sitting right on top of the crankshaft. HE SHOULD BE SPINNING AT AROUND 10,000 RPM.

The inside of an engine has oil. He also couldn't have gotten into that part of the engine because he first got sucked in with the air that then mixes with the fuel and ignites it. So he double dead.

I, and suprisingly many others, really liked this movie. Yeah, sometimes the movie moves 'like a snail', but the parts that I like are amazing, and it looks really good in parts ngl!

Dazz, there is a better way to watch this movie. Just imagine this entire movie is just a hallucination caused by Vertigo while fighting Deadpool. Then it suddenly becomes the best movie ever.

I remember watching this movie at the cinema as a kid. What I am happy about is that I completely forgot everything about it, which is ironic since I've always liked anything related to racing. The only reason why I kept being reminded of this movie nowadays was cuz I found out a few months ago that Turbo is literally just a pun related to the name of a sea snail. I'm serious. Look it up.

No, its because tuned or race cars often use something called a Turbo. A Turbo forces more air into an engine. These "turbo's" look kinda like snailshells. Thats the pun. The part that makes the car faster looks like the subject of the movie

This movie brought me and my brothers closer, when chet was on top of the crow and said to Theo/turbo "my little brother never gives up, that's the best thing about you" even the whole ordeal about Tito and Theo chasing a crazy dream, with everything against them. Me and my brothers love Turbo, it's a great movie!

I remember years ago watching the teaser trailer for and thinking, "Okay, this looks like fun. A snail who wants to go fast. Is this going to be a superhero movie?" But then the main trailer hit... and I lost all interesting. "Really, your just going to rip off the cars movies? Lame."

At 17:00 it shows tomcats, which were retired in 2006, so the movie is showing planes 7 years out of service. Literally unwatchable, 2/10.

I don't think this is the predecessor to the famous quippy Ryan Reynolds. Without looking it up I'm fairly confident Van Wilder came out before Turbo.

I remember Turbo being one of my favorite Dreamworks movies of all time (mostly because I was into racecar driving at the time) before How To Train Your Dragon changed my life, and while it's not my favorite anymore, I still look back on this movie with fondness and remember some of the more positive things about this movie then the negative, and the Netflix TV series Turbo F.A.S.T is suprisingly pretty good...at least the first season is.

I watched this film in a really bad hotel in France, middle of nowhere after breaking down 5 times. We ate slightly microwaved food and several of my teeth fell out whilst watching. It was really cold Simply put, I think this film cursed me

In all honesty I remember seeing that movie when it came out and from what I remember, this movie is just it’s okay. It’s like the kind of movie where when you have completely forgotten about the plot,characthers the whole thing, then it’s kind of enjoyable. It’s not one that you can watch over and over again and still find yourself laughing or still be entertained but you can watch it again, just minimal laugh a downgrade to chuckles I’d say

I remember watching this film as a good. And it’s so clear that if the story had just been tweaked in some places this could have been a really good film. Like you’ve mentioned a couple times, they had some really cool shots. Not to mention the star studded cast. And yeah the film’s animation style isn’t too bad either.

This movie came out band in July 2013. Obviously my favorite part is TS IndyVar at the Indy 500. How ironic, the Indy 500 is tomorrow!
