I was having a horrible day today rasing two grandchildren, one middle school, one high school, and my husband is a disabled veteran in a wheelchair that's also speech impaired. I've been on my feet since 4am and was feeling angry with God because I'm tired, but they are waiting for dinner. This song came on and brought tears to my eyes. I love you guys . I feel the love in my soul. God is going to carry me through this journey so I can continue to take care of all of them and our home. I am not alone. He got me. Thank you so much for this song!!!!

As you can see by my "name," I'm OtisFan1. Otis loved to nurture and mentor new talent. He'd be proud that these wonderful young men from Australia are carrying on the tradition of 60s soul music. When I discovered Otis in 1964, I had only missed his first two records and caught up quickly. I just heard the Teskey Brothers for the 1st time yesterday, so I've got a lot of listening to do. He sings everything from Eurythmics to The Drifters to Big Boss Vette, even Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus; and now y’all. His 11 year old brother plays the sax and has a guitar and keyboard. Hey guys I I guess it’s been about 6 months ago since I left a comment. Far as you guys I still feel the same , the songs , the rhythm,, and especially the soul I’m still loving it. I didn’t mention I was battling life in depth before from being on life support to anger when I woke to being angry with God for keeping alive . Just hearing the words I had to learn all over again everything put a hesitation in my progress due to my anger and no willing to live. People , therapists, anyone u can name supportive I had it but I just wasn’t feeling it combining my loses previously and no since of my own existence I just didn’t hv any fight life in me. So fast forwarding it took someone to speak to me on my level and of cours music as I mentioned before & God at most . In saying all that I feel so much normal of whom I was once in my life but it came from music and it started over with you alls.also. I want to thank u all again for allowing me to listen to as much as could and can. I have 100% of my memory back and I feel I Hv over 100% physically in the best condition then ever now. Music as I said was always my outlet and without y’all and it I wouldn’t hv made it to be the beautiful person I am now . Thank you and God bless.😊

I've started a Playlist for each of my 3 now "Adult" Children..this song I've added to each of their playlist..Their Playlist are songs that either are songs that they've chosen throughout the years that they enjoy; or songs that have a meaning behind the lyrics that mean something to me. We've..my Children and I have gone through so much loss and trauma..from many of their close friends they went to school with passing away; to my daughter being beaten and left for dead by a man then to a man coming into my home and holding my daughter and I by gunpoint for over 8 hours; and me thinking that that day was the day we were going to die. It put a huge strain on myself and my family..but I always want them to know whatever it is that they are going through..I will hold them..carry them and help them through
