So what do you guys think about the Leqismart A8 eScooter?

This scooter has both a hub brake and mechanical, though when I stop I feel like the hub/ electronic brake does most of the work as it's a very good bite unlike mechanical hike brakes The scooter indeed does have regen according to the specs!

I feel like it has power to spare at 15.5mph. I emailed the company and they said they didn't have a way to bypass the speed limiter yet unfortunately. Which is a shame as I told them I know this would be a key factor in getting a lot more sales for it

This actually looks really convenient and cool. I always saw these kinds of scooters at Costco but just walked past them. I may have to look into actually getting one now even though I know my son will try and steal it for himself

Love the design,side LED specially the tail/brake lights,like the app and the price point wish it had a bigger motor for more punch.. so far I like it

I emailed the manufacturer to see if it can be unlocked and I'm hoping it can be. At 350w I think it should be able to reach 18mph. If it CAN be unlocked to go faster, I think that would definitely change the game for its price point.

if you lock the scooter and power it off, does it stay locked? or is the lock for a temporary hold if you're going into a place for a few seconds/minutes? Thanks for sharing and your time!

That's the regen which will charge the bike everytime you you brake. Set it to the highest and see if your ok with how it feels. if so, just leave it there to get the best range.
