What I’m getting from this book is that Judah, his father, & all of his brothers had superhuman abilities like Samson. It was only 13 of them, but they were able to fight & defeat other kingdoms without having an army backing them up. Unless it was more than 13 of them & it was actually an army of Israelites from all 12 tribes fighting these other nations.

My children, the love of money leadeth to idols; because, when led astray through money, men make mention of those who are no gods, and it causeth him who hath it to fall into madness. Now I have much grief, my children, because of your lewdness, and witchcrafts, and idolatries, which ye will work against the kingdom, following them that have familiar spirits; ye [117] will make your daughters singing girls [118] and harlots for divinations and demons of error, and ye will be mingled in the pollutions of the Gentiles: for which things' sake the Lord shall bring upon you famine and pestilence, death and the sword, avenging siege, and dogs for the rending in pieces of enemies, and revilings of friends, destruction and blighting of eyes, children slaughtered, wives carried off, possessions plundered, temple of God in flames, your land desolated, your own selves enslaved among the Gentiles, and they shall make some of you eunuchs for their wives; and whenever ye will return to the Lord with humility of heart, repenting and walking in all the commandments of God, then will the Lord visit you in mercy and in love, bringing you from out of the bondage of your enemies.

Does it matter? I dont think he was white obviously but he probably looked middle eastern or black. Remember what God said to Samuel when he was anoint one of Jesses sons as king of Isreal. He assumed the most physically imposing had to be the king but God said He does not look on the outward appearance of man but the heart.

I am a bit confused. In Jasper it says Esau tried to prevent Jacob’s burial and Dan’s son beheaded him. This account says Jacob himself killed Esau with an arrow. Which is it?

In jubilees Jacob killed esau the jashers in circulation are forgeries.

Shalom. Allow the spirit to lead in knowing what may or may not be true. Expect historical details will vary. The most important thing is the scriptures and paying attention if inspired scripture such as the testaments of the 12 patriarchs, match up with scripture. Despite the some variations in events and accounts, I believe that these testaments match up with a lot of scriptures we find in the Bible. For example, Judah's testament supports the bible on the dangerous of the sins of fornication.

Up until 1:44 the things Judah is talking about being able to do is only possible by a giant… doesn’t anybody agree?

Superior powers than normal that’s for sure, I wonder if everyone wasn’t giant before things changed. I think the destruction/darkness after the children of Jacob are led astray could (as Enoch indicated) have had an effect on the realm. Also living shorter and BEING shorter could be connected. I am not sure where to put us on the timeline tbh, I’ve leaned toward praeta millennialist but also wonder if the real Christ is still yet to come or has already came. Might be unpopular as an opinion but I am seeking the truth here and trying to keep an open mind. Why not Jesus? Well he said that thing about hating your brother to follow him and I don’t think that lines up with the message especially in the Testament of Joseph where he doesn’t even want to shame his brothers all the while loving his enemies. Just saying… is this THAT message? And if Jesus really is the Christ, does that mean everything he said and did has been relayed correctly and not subject to manipulation (like so many things with political/imperial ties)? Just trying to ask the right questions and keep my sword of discernment sharp

@@lindseyspencer6982 Has anything anyones ever said been relayed correctly? A lot of these books have been tampered with. Although I think a lot less than most people think. But they are tampered in the right places to cause people to misunderstand. I would rather have never been created and be turned back into dust than to leave this life with that around my neck. Times are changing. Some call it ages…all of it is just word semantics. If you drop filth into clean water you can spot it easily. Drop filth into sewage and some might consider that filth an upgrade. I think we are living in the era of “As in the days of Noah so are the days of the son of man”. And “shall the son of man find faith in the earth?”. Everyone has to go through the stomach turning, gut wrenching feeling of being tested in this life. It’s the process of the ultimate satisfaction of the reward of the eternal paradise. It is part of human eternal fulfillment. You have to make your mind up which road that is. The road to salvation is narrow as well. Put your trust in the most merciful. All his names are beautiful.

@@lindseyspencer6982 The way I see the Dead Sea Scrolls is they could have only been written by the disciples using Jesus words. Two copies missing Barnabas went to Ethiopia and their Canon is in tact. Judas copy went to Rome and you see our Bible and the way it looks. This all sounded too strange to the Pagans that Killed the Nazarite Priest Jesus who was not a blond haired blue eyed guy. He and Barnabas had lots in common.

@@stevenetram I’m Muslim. The second Khalifa of Islam was documented to be 8 ft tall. This was 1400 years ago. Adam was 100 ft tall. Let alone the giants who were the result of Nephilim who were gigantic. We’ve surely been deteriorating as humans.

Glory to God. I've been looking too. These versions are the best So is the Ecclesiastes I prefer it over the one in the KJV. It is my favorite. The reading is superb quality!
