These guys looked great back in the 90's. No bubble guts. They were a bit smaller, but overall the bodybuilders back then looked better than today. And they were healthier.

I see a lot of comments about Vince's gyno that year. Yeah, it was pretty obvious, of course, but he had it removed shortly after that, and it was gone the following year in '92, which is when he won the Arnold. Vince is a personal friend of mine. I used to work at the gym he trained at all throughout the 90's. They said it was Animal House Gym in the broadcast, but that's incorrect, it was a Gold's Gym in Pembroke Pines, FL (the city where he lived, and still does). He became a member in 1990 when he moved to the area, and was there all the way up until the early 2,000's. I have no idea why they said Animal House, which was in Hollywood, FL. It was within 5 or 6 miles of us, and he might have trained there a couple of times, but his home gym was Gold's. I literally used to see him there every day.

Damn...I miss coming of age in the 90's. That was the golden age for bodybuilding that will probably never return. Mass with class. You just don't see posing and conditioning like you did back then. It just wasn't a freak show. It was a sport and artwork fused as one.
