Hey Guys,
Did you guys do well on the first and second car chime quiz? If you did, that's great. If not, then now you know :)
Or you just came here after skipping both the first and second quizzes?
Welp, this is the third and hardest out of the three car chime quizzes! :0
Let me know how you guys did in this third car chime quiz and what was your favorite car chime.

The Ferrari chime has actually gotten better. The older ones were just as naggy but with a shreekier beep.

Yea. I’ve always thought the Ferrari chime sounded obnoxious for what it is, especially the amount of beeps it gave out too lol. But that’s just my opinion.

@arya_moghadam The ones that I really can't stand are the basic generic beeps like the one in my 2016 Rav4. It just screams "I am a car with no personality."

@Karnabeno If it works. Some cars it still goes off even if you buckle up as a just-in-case. In Ferraris you never know. They are quirky down to the onorthodox location of basic switches and operation of their climate controls.

What you said for number 21 is maybe because of a CVT transmission similar to the Nissan Infiniti group and various hybrid cars

My family used to have a BMW and it didn’t have that chime

My BMW has it. It’s heard in 2016-2022 models. 2023 they changed it.

Thanks! I wish I could’ve included them, but the thing is, it would’ve been hard to include them since it would’ve been more than 30 chimes. But glad you enjoyed!

My mom used to have a Hyundai and I don’t remember if that’s how the chime sounded but she recently sold it so I guess I’ll never know unless she gets another Hyundai

The newer Hyundai’s consist of that chime. I’ve been in one before, and I remember it sounded like that.

I think it’s because they’re a part of the same group. The Fiat Chrysler group to be specific. So they share infotainments, chimes, etc.

Also the 1990s/2000s Ford Chime, the Toyota Microwave buzzer chime, old Toyota/Lexus Chime, the Bandai Namco designed Nissan Chime, the obnoxious old Mercedes Benz Chime, the older even more obnoxious Ferrari Chime used in the F430, VW Lacacarocha Chime, 1980s Volvo Chime, and the new S Class Chime. The Volvo 240 is the first European car to use a Chime instead of a Buzzer, it is a high-pitched but very pleasant chime.

Hi Arya, a lot of Alfa Romeo and BMW drivers have been put regular gas in their premium cars, but it can still work. I will get myself a 2021 BMW 330i xdrive, can I use 89 gas instead of 91 premium only for long trip like traveling to other states from NJ to SC Charleston or Charleston-NJ? 330i xdrive recommended Premium gas but minimum 89 gas, after that I will switch back to Premium

So for BMW’s, it’s definitely recommended to put premium gasoline to get the best power out of your car. I know it’s gonna be a bit expensive than 89 gas, but sometimes you have to pay a price to get good smooth powertrain from your BMW.

@@arya_moghadam Ok, I live in NJ and I see most of BMW 3 series drivers and Mercedes C class drivers put regular gas in their cars as it recommended premium unleaded gasoline. Most time I use premium gasoline on my 2021 330i xdrive, but I only use 89 gas if I’m going to vacation trip NJ-Virginia, or summer camp Sarasota Springs NY back to NJ.

@michaelgao8621 Oh ok. I feel like with most German cars, they highly recommend you putting premium fuel. Cause with premium fuel, you get really smooth power and it’s a very healthy fuel for the car.
