Imagine being in the lines, on the fields of Borodino, marching to the front lines - With giant invisible speakers behind you, playing Star Citizen for all to hear. I wonder what that would be like, having such a powerful theme playing to the beat of the marching and the cannonballs exploding and whizzling through the air, all around you. Powerful.

Hahah epic to listen too but you’d probably get yourself shot by Ney himself. They used trumpets & drum snares in those days as signals & communication. Awesome as the music is, I doubt it would be appreciated by the army. What I wish we could see is Napoleon & the gang alive today, doing a KZfaq reaction to EpicHistory’s series.

What we need is a big budget film production trilogy (3 hours each at least) about the Napoleonic Wars to accompany this excellent music. I'd like to see Napoleon played by one of the following, Tom Hardy, Leonardo Dicaprio, Christian Bale, etc, give it the full Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones treatment that such amazing real history so desperately needs and deserves.

Definitely something I would like to watch. Strangely I don't think there is a lot of movies about Napoleon. I watched an very old Napoleon from Abel Gance, that was very nice but shot in 1920'

It is not that strange because his story cannot reasonably be told in the scope of one movie (just Waterloo on its own became an entire film). That’s where a miniseries is best IMO, & was done pretty well in both 2002 & 2016. They are making a Napoleon film right now with Joaquin Phoenix in the role, & Ridley Scott directing. Phoenix is nearly as old as Napoleon’s death age, so it will be a big mistake to film much of his life events with just Phoenix in the role, which I think they’re doing. We’ll see.

All cringe choices for Napoleon. He should be played by a Corsican/Frenchman/Italian. I don't want to hear Napoleon speaking English

I agree about Napoleon speaking English. For verisimilitude, I would prefer to watch in English subtitles. I don’t know if you saw the 2016 miniseries, but they had Russians like Alexander speaking not only English, but in the actors’ natural high-brow British accents. It was murder on the scenes authenticity. Napoleon spoke English in the series, but at least that was with a heavy accent.

This music is so great, I was really looking for something like that. Hail Maestro. My favorite one is definitely the first one. So powerful. Napoleon's epic history channel is the best serie I ever watched on youtube.

you missed "soldier" by ben hayden. in the episode "Napoleon's Retreat from Moscow 1812" at 21:00 in that episode i believe soldier by ben hayden (or some variant of it) is playing
